Bigot Brigade Something Awful and Friends - The roller-coaster train-wreck embarrassing downfall of a Web 1.0 giant and its tick offspring like from Cloverfield

When cutting of their frank 'n beans doesn't solve anything they usually just do what they always did, blame society for their own shortcomings. It's always somebody else, which is convenient because then you don't have to admit that you ever fucked up. I think the ones who 41% themselves are often the ones that can no longer lie to themselves.

A little bit late, but:

These always remind of playing Starcraft 1 in the 90s and you whoop some guys ass real hard and they tell you if you don’t let them win they gonna kill themselves, the same sociopath behavior.

Poor Okan170, giving himself away like that with what should have been an innocent little one-time suicide-bait.

He delivered his ultimatum. Now, if Trump wins, Okan170 is bound to act upon it, because if he does not then everybody will know what actually happened behind the scenes, at the moment when he was about to pull the trigger:

It's like the saying goes: You either die a Bernie Bro, or you live long enough to see yourself become the Literal Hitler.

I hoped so at first but I was right to keep in mind that nurge is a moron as later in the thread there was a big explanation that he works on old MUD games and, well:

There's something low key annoying about that tendency goons have to use obscure terminology from ancient shit, like when they call MMORPG characters "toons" because of Toontown Online. That's gotta be a trait of autism.

I've been on internet gaming forums for ages and I've never once heard the term "atmos".

Because only the most autistic spergs ever played MUDs enough that they actually learned any terminology

Any time I ever even tried to play a MUD, I gave up before I even encountered another player to interact with

They say toons because it's gender neutral, you can't call your character my guy.

Most MUDs would have a command like /me or just a colon or something a lot shorter than "atmos." It's probably some specific game.

Hey that's not fair, there are plenty of perfectly normal people who played MUDs back in the day. Why, some of my best friends came from MUDs!

"Look at how I know words you don't. Why yes, I would be more than happy to condescendingly explain what this obscure word means when you fools have to ask"

Oh, it's far older than that. I don't even think a lot of people on the internet now were even born yet when "toon" started being a thing.

"atmos" is apparently what people in the MUD world refer to as socials.

I spent a few minutes trying to find it in use and the only thing I could dig up was an old alt.horror.werewolves FAQ from Usenet where they also recommended playing FurryMUCK and talked about forming cyberpacks because they were actually werewolves. So there you go.
