eh true dat, i just thought she should be a bit skinny/thicc, added a one piece suit, and like long ass boots, thought the hair should be a bit curly n stuff. I didn't like how the artist made rouge look like an obese slob, and the ear plugs didnt look good imo. I could re-redraw my redraw, and maybe make it more original.You “fixed” the redesign... so you just sexy-fied it?This is the one rare exception where I actually kinda like a character with darker skin. It kinda fits Rouge considering she’s a bat and all. Your art is fine but Rouge has been “sexy-fied” an infinite amount of times.

When redrawing something you should at least try to incorporate some of the ideas the original had in it. You pretty much just drew a gijinka Rouge, it doesn’t look relevant to the previous picture at all. But the redesign of the Rouge from the artist wasn’t much of a redesign either, so eh...

Why does the one in the pink jacket become a different ethnicity? This is almost worse than the original, the only positive I can see is at least the pink-haired one doesn’t have a fucking bird neck. Or pubes sticking out of its skirt.

Ngl with the original I like the...hmm..dont really know how to explain it well, it’s not texture, but I like how the lines interact with the rest of the colour, it reminds me of a semi-messy but deliberate oil painting. It may be the style or lack of clarity in proportions/anatomy that needs some fine tuning. I do hope they don’t get stuck in the whole tumblr thing...

A few things:
-the fingers on the green one would look better with an outline or shading on them as they blend into each other
-the sun in the background is very eye catching and distracts from the main focus of the picture, normal clouds like the original or a smaller sun would be a better choice
-the phone is too flat of a rectangle when it should look more like a rectangular prism to give it some depth
Otherwise you captured the style of the original comic well, the scene is a lot clearer due to better use of lines and being less crowded, and I actually can tell that these are homestuck characters. Gg!

Your drawing is cute, but it reads more like sexy Chester Cheetah. Arguing the semantics of furry art is admittedly pretty autistic but at least a fat anthro seal makes more sense since they're, you know, fat.

Did my own fast and loose redraw. Fucked the inking a little but ain't that always the way?
I thought the sleepy eyes were pretty cute. Really there's a lot I like of the original, there's just a few flaws too. Damn shame to see cute ideas wasted.
