I am the only person who finds it weird that Boss Hog seems to look normal/be removed from his emo phase now, but he’s still putting up with Abby and her emo/scene swings?

He being who he is I'm going to lean toward deceiving. Particularly if he's still doing the on and off thing with Abby. And I say this while liking her waaaaaaaay more than him. She isn't totally loathsome but there's no suggesting that anyone with a stable outlook in life is going to be interested in continuing on in a relationship with her either.
He's just gross. Whereas she's damaged but still likable enough to maintain a fascination with while quietly rooting for her to get her shit together.
