This RP isn't believable. House wouldn't go out of his way to save Blob, who in turn would never become a courier because that's pleb work.

You should go get Fisto and let Robert have a gay ol time. As for the faction, I think the NCR would be best since Bob is a cucky leftie and that is closest to fitting within the world of NV. How ever, and I have no idea if you will be capable of pulling this off with the stats/skills you will have access to, he would broker a peace between NCR and the Brotherhood because he would have that need for the technology. Also anyone wearing a red hat must die and be dismembered because they are literally hitler.

Maybe his game's fucked. NV ran too quickly for me until I forced it to use Vsync through the Nvidia panel.

I played Fallout 4 once and hated it, but I was trying to play it like New Vegas. After watching Joseph Anderson's videos, I'm tempted to try it again as a straight FPS.
Bob doesn't seem to care about race unless it's convenient for his current argument. Given the choice he'd prefer a woman to rule due to his fetish, but I don't think he cares much.
Liking certain factions until they wronged him was the plan, but that might be a problem for the Botherhood. Hording tech to keep it out the hands of the working class is right up Bob's ally, but if I recall correctly they force you to be a slave when you first meet them.
It's why the Legion is a stretch. Bob is on board ideologically, but wouldn't put up with them calling him a degenerate that should be tied to a cross every time he walks past. I don't remember them doing that in the past runs.
I didn't know that was a mod. I downloaded the Pipboy Game Boy skin. There is a Nintendo Zapper mod but it looks op, and the Mario companion looks like a low effort joke mod. If there is a Mario costume mod, I can't find it.
I might if Bob reaches that level 15 and people want it. Old World Blues would be a great fit. Dead Money is just a dungeon crawl so I might skip that one.
I have no idea. I made a high agility character and everything played fine. My best guess is a vats bug got him stuck in slow motion and it saved like that, or there is/was some other problem like the fan patch added that as a feature. His movement speed is tolerable now, whatever the problem was seems to have mostly fixed itself. He still draws his gun and reloads in bullet time though.
That is the real reason why the bombs fell. Call of Halo won the console war.
DUNGEON CRAWLING
We left Bob walking towards the REPCONN rocket test site. This was for the quest "Come Fly With Me". It's one of the more bland quests in the game. The story is that a group of religious ghouls wants to use the rockets to go on a "the great journey" to "the far beyond". After a dungeon crawl to clear some areas of bad guys, you fetch some parts to repair the rockets and the quest is over.
Bob decided he'd help them so he can go to space with them. There was even a spare space suit in his size. You can imagine his disappointment when he found out he wasn't going with them.
How dare these ghouls deny Bob the glorious future he earned! He actually has a reason to be pissed off because he did clear all the monsters from the basement and got the parts to repair the rockets. In real life all he did was make movie reviews and rage Tweet all day. The space suit also grants similar armor to his starting armor at much less weight, so that's good for me.
CREDIT CHECK WHERE CREDIT CHECK IS DUE
This questing wasn't doing much for Bob's bank account and I forgot you could bypass the credit check by taking the NCR monorail into The Strip. Bob could find valuables just fine, but selling them was proving problematic. Not wanting to spend the entire game wandering around looking for vendors, I decided to break character and hit the casino.
Bob has 10 points of luck. Luck increases critical hit chance and the chance of finding good loot, but it also increases the chance of winning at the casino. With a little money lucky characters can get rich quick. Starting with 100 caps, I lost almost all of them at the slot machine, but eventually managed to go from 3 caps to many times that starting amount. Win enough and the casinos give you gifts. Bob won a dapper outfit, which makes him look like Linkara with a beard.

On his way back to the strip, a member of The Kings opened fire on him for no reason. Bob defended himself with the laser gun he looted during Come Fly With Me.
Then Bob was hit in the back of the head with a lead pipe. Bob turned around and made short work of that junkie too. After the dust settled I channeled my inner CSI to figure out what happened. I think the King was trying to shoot the junkie behind Bob and the AI didn't care that Bob was in the way, but I choose to say it was because they both read Bob's Twitter feed.
Having passed the credit check, wild west Ron Toye had finally made it to The Strip, the closest thing to a metropolitan city in the wasteland. Upon entering, he was invited to speak to Mr. House, the owner of The Strip, at The Lucky 38. Mr. House asked Bob to retrieve the platinum chip he was hired to deliver just before the start of the game.
When Bob left The Lucky 38, there was a crowd in awe "He must be really important." said one onlooker. "I'm attracted to him." one woman lied. He was even given a message by a NCR courier that his misdeeds would be forgiven if he'd meet them at the local recruitment center.
Getting into the strip is where money becomes less of a problem. There are lots of casinos here which is good for lucky characters, but Mr. House will pay 2000 caps for each snow-globe you bring him. There is one in Goodsprings at the start of the game, and one in The Lucky 38. With no credit checks from this point forward, that's 4000 caps for next to no effort.

The next task is to kill Benny and commit to a faction. It's looking like Yes Man and Legion are the favorites.
Benny is hiding in The Top Casino. The guards take your weapons at the door. What do to about Benny is an example of the games role playing possibilities. If you're a woman with the black widow perk, you can seduce Benny and kill him when he's vulnerable. You can go in guns blazing, but killing the armed guards is a tough fight. Usually I sneak a weapon in to kill Benny. You don't even have to kill him if you don't want to as pacifist runs are possible. I remember there is a way for Benny to be captured and you can execute him with his own gun. I think that's a Legion option, but it's been a long time since I did that.
What Bob would do is obvious. Walk away then complain on Twitter about how he'd totally kick that guys ass. Since that is not an option, I'm open to suggestions.

the story of Bob's existence.Remember, Bob doesn't use anything semiautomatic, "not gonna win on speed - might as well win on power", so you have to stick to revolvers, lever actions, single shots, and the like. If you get anyone to actually follow you, you have to sacrifice them at the first sign of trouble just like he did with Russ.

Bob would get sweet talked and duped by Benny into going up stairs to talk and then ambushed by the goons. Then he would go back to house and get ridiculed by him spuring him into a tard rage causing him to track Benny to the legion camp and spite Mr House by destroying his precious robots. This would be a good way of role playing him into the legion. Then he could block Benny on twitter IRL.

IIRC with a high enough speech you can talk the receptionist into letting you up with all your weapons, without alerting Benny, but Blob isn't very convincing.

I didn't think about it until after I left Goodsprings, but a backwater farming town is definitely somewhere Bob would hate. Though I don't think he'd like the power gangers either. But the conflict over the town doesn't start until you complete the tutorial which I didn't want to do.
I'm working on that. There aren't many revolvers or energy weapons early on. I haven't talked about leveling up much, but at level 8 I want to take the perk "Cowboy" which gives a damage buff to revolvers. His slow reload speed is going to make revolvers and lever actions painful to use, but that's the character.

I haven't checked, but I thought some autist creating a mario costume for the game would be very likely. The thought of Movie Bob "saving" the post-apocalypse world with Nintendo accessories because Miyamoto appeared to him in a dream would be very funny.
