So, in case anyone missed it, Bo Winegard is an academic that calls himself a centrist (for all the descriptive value that has) that I think specializes in evolutionary biology, and he got fired after being invited to the University of Alabama to give a talk about human population variations. He was hounded off campus on his second day because someone found the RationalWiki article on him, and treated it as gospel truth. Then his employers were forwarded the link, as well as articles he'd written for Quillette, ones that don't cleave to the progressive stances on genetics and biology.

He got fired after a prolonged, anonymous trolling campaign targeted as his employers, and this is the aftermath of that -

I think it was somewhere in r/science, but damned if I can find it, right this second.

However, fascinatingly, while the mainstream media profit from proliferating allegations, they bear little responsibility for doing it! Apparently, as long as the media mention that the scandal is an "allegation," they are relatively safe from legal repercussions. This is because, in free-speech societies, people can voice opinions and unsubstantiated claims. Further, the media can always attest that they are not making the allegation; rather, they are just reporting it. But, in truth, the media actually do help "make" the allegation by how they report it. You probably know that how you say something can convey greater meaning than what you say. For example, I could say, "I'm happy," but ifl scream it angrily, people are much more likely to believe I'm upset. With that in mind, try listening carefully to how mainstream media say the word "allegation" when reporting a story. Either they say it in a positive tone, as though it's something good, or they say it quickly, as though it's insignificant. They also use the word "allegation" or "alleged" instead of using terms such as "unsubstantiated claim" or "accusation without proof" to deemphasize that evidence is lacking. Even more cleverly, after the media make an allegation popular by broadcasting it far and wide, they then circle back later and broadcast how "so many" people are talking about it. Further, they support people who make allegations by promoting them as courageous for "coming forward." These tactics get even more people interested and encourage others to make similar claims. Finally, the media then cite the increasing number of allegations and growing public outrage (that they helped create) as being "too numerous to be ignored" or as "evidence" of truth. In a court of law, a man is considered innocent untilproven guilty, but in the court of media-managed public opinion, a man "serially accused" of a scandal is guilty until proven innocent. In this way, an allegation does not require evidence to DAMN because, through media manipulation, it becomes its own evidence. Thousands-even millions-of people can become organized against one man.

Man, this is like the oppression Olympics. White guy: I have it bad. I'm poor and unemployed! Black guy: Yes, but I'm black and you're white, therefore you're privilege and cannot understand the struggles I go through with being black. Then it continues with different race/ethnicity, skin color, gender, etc.

To be honest I don't think it's wrong to discus issues involving race relations and privilege. How the hell are we going to better ourselves as a multicultural society if we never talk about of differences and our struggles, and how it affects people of different backgrounds that someone of a different background wouldn't have experienced before.

Unfortunately, like the environmental movement, social justice warriors have hijacked it that any average Joe see any change as hopeless because they're repeatedly vilified by the left as supporting opposer who do anything to keep disadvantaged people down for profit and power; which to them is why white people, especially white men can never truly be redeemed. They can just do the occasional good deed.

Not sure if this is the right place for it but I've been trying to give back to the farms for the endless entertainment it's brought me. If anyone remembers the IGN boards, specifically the Vestibule, there is a moderator there named checker138 that is a notorious far left snowflake who makes it his life mission to interject himself into every political debate and scold the opposing side. Imagine a ResetERA mod released onto a more politically neutral board and you basically have checker138's rampage.


Checker138 is one of those exceptional individuals who utilizes his mod privileges to leverage himself in arguments while talking down to other users, knowing they won't say shit to him in fear of being banned. This is not uncommon among private niche internet forums, but having him be on the staff at a big company like IGN is pretty funny.

Here are some excerpts in the past 30 days that some madlad has collected:

- Calling another user "one of the most hateful people on the board"
- Asking a user if he is "stupid or something"?
- Calling another user an "asshole"
- Accusing a user of being a white supremacist
- Talking down to another user and calling them pathetic
- Accusing another poster of being racist
- Claiming to be in a position of superiority to another user
- Telling another user that he agrees with him being called a piece of shit
- Calling another user a bigot
- Refusing to evoke disciplinary action against those flaming another user due to political beliefs
- Telling another user that he deserves to be in an unhappy relationship
- Passive Aggressive Drive-by Posting, talking down to users


We might be witnessing a tipping point here as he recently butted back into yet another transgender debate and banned someone who he ideologically disagreed with.

Yeah, I know it's reddit, but this is shit that has to change, because it's absolutely ludicrous that society permits a woman to make a man financially responsible through blatant and intentional deception; most people will readily acknowledge that a guy lying about using a rubber, or about his STI status, should be considered to have committed at least sexual assault, if not rape, depending on the circumstance, because he abrogated consent through deception.

Society doesn't hold women that are willfully dishonest to that same standard.

Even if the courts weren't getting a cut of the action, they would still have motive to lay the burden on the man -- because it cuts down on the costs the state will have to pay.

Indian friend of mine calls this the ‘Indian mother in law dynamic. ‘ Women traditionally have no power as daughters or wives until they reach the mother in law stage, then they take out years of frustration and being badly treated on their daughters in law, it’s literally the only power women in more traditional parts have, and the echoes of it carry on to the western world. I’m sure other cultures have this too.

Shit like that makes it so super funny to me in how these people think the US needs to emulate the EU in any capacity. Not only are they essentially telling the Young Vigorous Eagle to take flying lessons from the Old Crippled Sparrow, but they're also proving how they're bigger Europhiles than the average White Nationalist
