I've seen a lot of articles speculating who will run for the GOP nomination in 2024, regardless of what happens in 2020, though I do believe Trump will win. I can't help but feel we're in so much better shape than the Dems. There's a ton of credible names on the possible contenders list, whether you like them or not: Vice President Pence, Gov. Haley, Gov. De Santis, Sen. Cruz, Sen. Scott from SC, Sen. Scott from FL, Sen. Hawley, Sen. Paul, Rep Crenshaw, Don Jr, Ivanka... There's something for everybody on that list. That's a murderer's row of a lineup.
As for the Dems? I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that the next Dem President is not yet a household name. I don't see anyone currently even close to being able to win. They've had 12 years to find a successor to Obama and they're no closer than they were in 2008.

The thing about that is, I can think of plenty of other people that Republicans might be excited for (Devin Nunes, Mark Meadows, Jim Jordan just from the House for instance), even in the 2024 election almost everybody you said is going to be under the age of 60. Plenty of them wouldn't even be 50. If the Democrats can't rustle up the "NEXT OBAMA" they are going to run some more fossils in their 60s and 70s again and look like total assholes.

All of their over 70 crowd, Bernie, Biden and Warren will be too old, even for them. Klobuchar, Booker and Harris will be in the right age range, but I think the last person to be elected President after any failed attempt, regardless of how deep they got, was Nixon. The Dems have already poisoned the well against Tulsi, plus she's not running for reelection so she would be out of politics too. Buttigieg is not running for reelection and there's zero chance of him winning statewide in Indiana, so he would likely be out politics too. There's so little competition even someone braindead like AOC would go straight to the front of the line.

They are so done. They're in worse shape than the British Labour Party, which is saying a lot.

Dems are counting down to the day when demographic shift will allow them to run a potted plant and win (this was supposed to have already happened). Then again, they'd probably fuck the potted plant out of the nomination anyway.
Seeing as how a Venus Flytrap is more sentient than Joe Biden, they should probably try it quickly.

So, how fucked is Bernie now actually, considering Super Tuesday has passed and he has been beaten in every state except his own and California?

So many say that he can still win

When they say "he can still win" wouldn't he have to win like every single state going forward, AND get all the superdeligates?

In short, Bernie can't win, but he can make the DNC have a really bad fucking day by forcing a brokered convention.

Of course, there's a rumor Hillary might be making a play.

You don't get 50 pounds of Botox injected into your face for no reason.

Watch Joe Biden at this rally in St. Louis Missouri. He doesn't speak the whole time, he starts speaking at about 28 minutes.

He's having a goddamn meltdown. We are 3 months away from watching his rancid brain leak out of his bloody eye.

People talk about hiding him away, doing a minimum of campaign speaking and spots and refusing most interviews, even soft ones, as a strategy.

Bro, the Biden campaign started that tactic in August 2019 and that is straight from their mouths. A "limited visibility campaign." That's how he even got as far as he has.

All anybody ever saw him was cranked out on speed sharing a stage with a half dozen other people plus moderators, speaking for 12 minutes in 2 or 3 hours. Raw, unvarnished, "Joe Biden For 10 Minutes" footage is some of the most Holy Shit stuff you can watch. This guy's got a genuine chance to be President of the USA in about 8 months.

I love how absolutely everything any candidate does is a vast right-wing conspiracy now, according to the Berntards.
Nobody likes a bunch of losers who constantly need to make up excuses for the fact they're losing. Just ask DSP!

It's true that Sanders had the deck stacked against him in 2016, with Donna Brazile and all the others working for Clinton.

It might still be the case, but rigging things against him would hardly be necessary by now. He mobilized fewer people to his cause than ever before, even in his home state.
Zero enthusiasm, probably because he's already proven himself to be a weak bitch the last time.

Falling in line with the DNC that had just screwed him. Getting bullied off the stage by obese shrieking sheboons. Pathetic.

The way the Democrats treat each other bothers me in principle. They're supposed to be on the same side, yet they're all too eager to backstab each other. They use identity politics and factionalism to absurd extremes. For instance, some Biden supporters are now calling Democrats who don't support Biden white supremacists. It actually kind of disturbs me, because it comes so easily, and naturally, for them to throw their fellow Democrats, whether they're candidates or rank-and-file voters, under the bus. Everyone becomes roadkill for the stupidest, pettiest reasons. No exceptions. These are the same people claiming they're a big tent too. That's one dysfunctional tent they have!

The Democrats don't know who they represent or what they stand for. "Orange Man Bad," is their most recent least common denominator. It's just like "Anyone But Bush." These so-called platforms are shitty last resorts. In the end, all they want is power and conformity.

Sorry for getting on my soapbox. I just had to get this off my chest. This recent shitshow with Bernie and Biden only reinforces my vote for Trump. Warts and all, I'll take Trump over any asshole the Dems try to push.

And now you know why I eventually abandoned the Democratic Party and went independent.

The rise of the Woke Left and SJW clowns like The Squad was merely the icing on the cake.

I wouldn't be surprised if the DNC would be foolish enough to try to run AOC in 2024 or 2028, assuming the DNC still wants to keep her around or they haven't found a way to gerrymander or primary her out of office now that she's no longer an asset for the party and is now a huge fucking liability for them instead.

Personally, if the DNC were smart, then they'd try to plan for the likely possibility of a Trump victory in 2020, and try to get The Squad out of office ASAP via primaries and gerrymandering and try to make amends with Tulsi Gabbard and convince her to go for a 2024 run.

Tulsi's not a Blue Dog in the traditional sense and while she is a progressive, she's also not a totally woke moonbat like Bernie and AOC, nor is she a typical neoliberal shill like Biden and Bloomberg.

Or the Republicans could take up Kanye West's offer and try to go for a three-peat of celebrity presidents....

The real issue is the Republicans trying to follow Trump with either one of the surviving neocon relics or some kind of Religious Right traditionalist candidate and then pissing away any and all of the goodwill they built up with the common voters during the Trump years.

The only Democrat candidates I can see making a good run post-Trump would be Tulsi Gabbard or maybe some newcomer who isn't woke, while the Republicans best bets are either Ted Cruz, maybe Rand Paul, or Kanye West (assuming Kanye is serious) and while Ivanka Trump might have some potential as a presidential candidate, it'd be a very bad idea for her to run in 2024 (if she wants the office) since it would look like she's trying to build a political dynasty.

For this election, I'm gonna powerlevel and admit I'll be voting for Sanders if he gets nominated (and thats a big IF), albeit with the lack of expectation that he wins against Trump; if he doesn't get nominated, I'm voting Trump (because lol no for Biden).

As for elections going forward... god I hope AOC and her squad doesn't ever run for President (AOC can't run in 2024 since she'll be 35 after that year's primaries, and no one will care about her by 202ate).

I feel incredibly bad for Gabbard this election cycle; she's literally the only sane Democrats running this election, and the DNC just took a massive dump on her because... yeah. Hopefully she runs again in 2024.

I kinda see both Cruz and West competing against each other in 2024, with Cruz having become reformed since 2016, and West because... more celebrity presidents?

"Don't believe your own eyes and ears! They're Russian conspiracies and they're lying to you!"

We're seriously going to gaslight this all the way to the point where an old man collapses on a debate stage, aren't we? Even though I don't expect they'll stop, they'll probably just start frantically shitting out articles about how Russian spies developed an invisible banana peel to throw on stage just to discredit Biden.

I'm sorry, but when Joe Biden's own fucking people comes out and publicly declares that they're considering cutting back the amount of time he spends on a stage so that he can "rest up", it's time to admit that your boy's fuckin' old. Are natural disasters or crisis situations going to wait until the President's had his nap? Are hostile nations going to hold back on us until they've checked to make sure that Biden's well-rested and had his Raisin Bran and Metamucil this morning?

No, they probably fuckin' aren't and I'm sorry but your boy is too goddamned old for this job. Age sucks and dementia isn't fair, but I'm sorry, the President of the United States should not and can not be some ancient fucking dude who barely knows what room he's in today. If you're having to sit down and talk to each other about how to start cutting back on your schedule because your candidate starts Sundowning at the debates, it's time to just admit that he is not fit for the office of the Presidency.

The reelection campaign for President Trump is making a move to court some of Democrats' most reliable voters, opening centers meant to boost the president's popularity among African-Americans in 15 cities around the country.

The "Black Voices for Trump Community Centers" opened by the Trump campaign are part of a larger "Black Voices for Trump" initiative meant to encourage "the black community to re-elect President Donald J. Trump by sharing experiences and successes of everyday Americans as a result of the Trump administration." Trump backers have recently been speculating, with a strong economy and a handful of accomplishments on racial issues, that the president could significantly increase his black support in 2020 verses 2016.

Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C. told Fox News' Neil Cavuto that he thinks Trump could increase his support among black voters from 8 percent to 12 percent, and potentially as high as 15 percent.

“The goal here is you're never going to get a vote you don't ask for,” a senior Trump campaign official said of the community centers. “People in these communities do not know the message of what the president has accomplished and what he will do with an extra four years. We want opportunities to be in these communities, to display what the Trump plan is for these communities, and in a way that's told to them by peers in their community."

The community centers will open in 15 cities -- largely diverse urban communities in swing states that could end up deciding the 2020 election:

  • Tallahassee, Fla.
  • Jacksonville, Fla.
  • Orlando, Fla.
  • Tampa, Fla
  • Miami
  • Atlanta
  • Detroit
  • Columbus, Ohio
  • Cleveland
  • Philadelphia
  • Pittsburgh
  • Charlotte, N.C.
  • Raleigh, N.C.
  • Greensboro, N.C.
  • Milwaukee

Senior Trump Campaign Advisor Katrina Pierson called the reelection campaign's latest move "woke."

"We see the numbers coming up in the polls and the demand on the ground when we do these types of events, so it’s really important that we take this next step and really bring those voters into the party," she said. "It’s a woke concept. This concept by itself is a woke concept in the fact that for decades you have had a community that has been controlled by the Democratic Party. Republicans haven’t even gone in to deliver their message. Now we have a Republican who is actually going to the community to deliver the message and ask for the vote."

The Trump campaign says it might also expand this type of community center outreach by opening "Latinos for Trump" and "Veterans for Trump" locations.

Democratic presidential candidates have often alleged President Trump is racist, citing his immigration policies, past comments and response to acts of white supremacist violence such as in Charlottesville, Va. The concerted effort to woo black voters by the Trump campaign and Trump himself, who spent a significant amount of time on racial issues during his State of the Union, is likely aimed at changing that perception.

It worked in Canada for Jack Layton. His handlers and the media convinced enough voters to make him Leader of the Opposition when he clearly had one foot in the grave.

@Syaoran Li @Pickle Dick

I completely agree with you guys. Tulsi Gabbard is the ONLY Democratic candidate that I like and she's a good example of what I'm talking about. The Democrats have shit all over her. They threw her under the bus because she wasn't politically correct or loyal enough for them. Even more ironic how she fits their "woman of color" definition, yet they still treat her like garbage. She's even a decorated guardsman and that's STILL not enough! The way they treat her is despicable.

I hope the Democrats not only lose this election, but they have a total meltdown because of their loss too.

So you guys think Corona chan will tank the economy enough to stop Trump, or how will Trump's maxed out luck factor stop the virus?
It'll be interesting. Natural disasters generally don't stand well for incumbents, but the logical manner in which to contain disasters like this - tighter border control - is anathema to the Democrats. It's gonna be rough.
