The streets were clean of trash at the time which is more than I can say about about the UWS. Maybe it was the tourism that particular area gets but it stood out because I didn't expect it.You're clearly talking about Manhattan, Nebraska or some shit. You're definitely not talking about NYC, otherwise we have vastly different concepts of hygiene. And I'm talking about always, not 5 years or whatever. I'm a lifelong new yorker, born in Queens and actually lived in an apartment in Confucius plaza in Chinatown off the Manhattan bridge in the late 80s so I know of what I speak.
