Idk if she's diagnosed autistic but she defo comes across as so when she has such a lack of awareness of how other people perceive her and of other people's issues. She always thinks of herself and inserts herself into everything, which on its own wouldn't be abnormal if it wasn't sometimes completely unrelated to the point at hand in the scheme of things.

Like you want to protect yourself against corona, you don't think at all about your mother who would be genuinely at risk of being really sick from it. That would be most people's first thought, but not Steph. She didn't even think to put a spell on her mother, it was just casting her own spell for her own protection.
