Bitch if you are so clueless that you:
1) depend on other media people to tell you what to think
2) can't figure out where to get information
You've got no business being a journalist.

Sorting fact from fiction is literally her job. This is like walking into your boss' office and saying "hey man, gotta be honest with you, I have no clue what I'm doing out there".

I suppose there's a meta thing going on here, where the role of a modern journalist should morph from being an investigator to being a sifter of sources. They could hone skills to determine trustworthiness and expertise so the audience is better equipped to recognize good info instead of bad. But I won't hold my breath on the journalistic class striving to become useful creatures again.

The Trump Curse strikes again.

Watch as Megan bleeds from her eyes, lungs, and wherever.

There is no endgame yo

Check out every single article about a proggresive victory, no matter what they get, all of them end with some activist going "We still got much work to do about x, but thanks, i guess. "

Assuming they don't just immediately turn on the group they helped "win" as the new enemy class, look how fast homosexual white men became the enemy once they achieved their goals as a political group, they just became the new oppressors... of TRANS people.

Okay I need to know, what the fuck does a political scientist actually test. Like how do they use the scientific theory let alone create theories? These chucklefucks show time and time again that they have no idea what they are doing.

Like psychology, it's not about creating testable results like math and engineering, but having testable working THEORY that justifies your opinions..... You can definitively say "1 + 3 = 5" is wrong, but, you can't scientifically say "Trump is wrong", you have to rely on the (alleged) expertise of those who know political theory to debate his pros and cons, and thus, PoliSci relies on the holder of the credentials to be as impartial as possible when applying them. Which very few people are today in the political arena.

TLDR: "political science" has always been garbage because by it's very nature you are trying to cook the numbers to your advantage moreso than any other disciplne. I don't even consider it a valid field. Posters here on KF and over on YT with just some well-reasoned arguments backed up by facts have done better at predicting the political landscape than all the supposed experts.

The way I see it, most reporters/journalists were obsoleted by the internet. The idea of a paid class of info-gatherers and collators made sense before YOU had the power to do that all yourself. The fundamental JOB of a reporter has been fatally wounded by the fact that it's now a money-losing proposition to pay them to actually report when the source of 90% of the info out there probably has a facebook page these days, hence, it's become entertainment wrapped up in a false mask of impartiality and integrity, same reason ESPN has become a useless pile of hot-takes, 90% of it was rendered pointless when the ability to get scores on your pocket-phone reached maturity.... what was left except selling the spectacle of reading the same sports results with "funny" banter?

I'm not an aficionado of the series or anything, so does every Bond actor leave the series on a really shitty movie, or is it just Brosnan and Craig?

I've heard hardcore Bond fans say Diamonds are Forever was a poor final showing for Connery, everyone I know doesn't like Roger Moore so not sure if A View To A Kill is comparably bad to the rest of his films.

The ones I know also view License to Kill as shitty, but they claim it's because it's too much like Miami Vice and not enough like Bond more than the film itself being shitty. I kind of liked it so *shrug*

Connery left in a huff after You Only Live Twice because he was sick of Bond fans and the PR tour of Japan to promote the movie had worn him out. He did come back eventually, and arguably made his worst one ever in Diamonds are Forever.

Dalton's License to Kill soured the series for half a decade by being a grim, violent and unpleasant affair that played more like an R rated episode of Miami Vice than a Bond Flick. (Though watch for a young pre-Law and Order Carey Lowell playing the only Bond girl I ever really got the hots for)

Moore's final appearance in A View to a Kill ruined the resurrection he'd pulled on the character with Octopussy and For Your Eyes Only, proving he could be an effective Bond if the writers would only hand him a decent script, not a comic book. It was more of the same hokey stuntwork and cartoonish supervillains that almost ruined the franchise in the 70's and Christopher Walken as the bad guy is completely wasted on a Z-grade mad scientist plot.

Yeah, it does seem to be a thing, come to think of it.

OTOH: For Your Eyes Only, a Dalton script that was given to Moore when Dalton couldn't get out of his TV obligations to film it, shows what kind of Bond Moore SHOULD have been allowed to play, and is his best take on the role and a top-5 film thanks to practical stuntwork and a believable espionage plot.

God, they STILL want this to come true, don't they?

Wasnt Connery’s last film Never Say Never Again?

It's not considered canon by "true" and hardcore Bond fans, being just a remake of Thunderball with 80's cars and computers instead of 60's ones, seen as a shameless cash grab back when people actually scolded Hollywood for doing such a thing.....

I mean considering that corona is supposedly making surviving males sterile it would be the opposite of handmades tale where the men would be subjugated, so you know their dream.

That being said I fucking love these people
Lib: Trump isn't doing anything about corona
Same Lib: Trump just banned out of country travel this is just like my distopia novels.

It's a fucked if you do fucked if you don't honestly he should have done it earlier but imagine the headlines he would have gotten.
