Wuhan Coronavirus: Lockdowns, Quarantines, Cancellations

Not US but in Denmark all schools and universities have been closed, and all non-essential state employees have been sent home. They've also closed all 'indoor cultural spaces'.
Bring on the NEET lifestyle for the next month or two I guess
Same with Greece and of course Italy. I think there is going to be a continent wide shutdown across Europe with schools and universities. They are one of the worst places for the virus to spread. Kids/teenagers/young adults won't bother abiding by any quarantine rules and will bring the illness home.

I love that he said this is how it's always been. No hysteria. Based Grandpa Trump knows how this shit goes. So many people have the brain span of a fruit gnat. They just cancelled the fucking St. Patrick's Day parade here in Chicago over this nonsense. Our Governor in Illinois (who thinks he's the governor of Chicago, not the whole goddamn state) has outright said he doesn't believe what the federal government is saying about the coronavirus. It's full-on conspiracy theory nonsense because they want it to be a bigger deal than it really is. They want people to suffer because they hope they will blame Trump. Pisses me the fuck off. ~10 years ago, H1N1 was declared pandemic too, and how many people do you personally know who died from that? Jeez Lou-fucking-ise.
It warms my heart to see that even with all of Italy locking down, China locking down 800~ mln people and essentially hitting their economy in the back of the head with a fucking shovel just to attempt containment, with the virus having a sanic fæst spread rate and a list of symptoms that will quite literally decimate the elderly and give half the zoomers pneumonia, on top of some crazy unconfirmed shit like infertility, heart attacks and seizures, there are still people who will go ‘it’s just a flu, bro’ or turn this into a right versus left thing.
Friend, if they wanted to hurt Trump all they’d need to do is cough on him. Guy’s fat and old.

Hungary soft lockdown:
-No chinks, pastas or shrine lickers allowed, even if they fly to France first.
- No gatherings of 100+ indoors or 500+ outdoors.
-No universities, cinemas or theatres.

-Elementary and High schools, markets and churches not YET closed, but this can happen any time if the situation worsens.

-Schengen suspended against Austria and Slovenia for bordering pastaland.

-So far 15 cases, 9 iranian students and 1 british tourist.

- Even self isolation can be enforced. The mayor has responsibility for providing supplies to the quarantined.

-foreigners who break quarantine will be deported immediately.

-Medical workers are banned from leaving the country without Ministry special permission.

-Army is on standby to help. Official papers will not expire for 15 days after the emergency is over, even of they technically are expired now.

News claim it is much deadlier than the flue and also spreads easier, and the flue causes "serious devastation" yearly.

I am boomer can not archive on phone and links are not allowed anymore so take my word for it.

Seems pretty pointless with the UK-exemption considering how far spread it is there already and how far it's spread in the US. E: Feels more like a political move than a real move handling this situation.
That's more or less what I was going to say. It almost feels like the UK exemption is DT trying to demonstrate some sort of favor to the UK as a retarded 'reward' for leaving the EU. In all fairness, if he's going to do this anyway why not just ban all non essential travel into and out of the US for a couple of months? Personally I'm surprised he's not panicking more. An illness that kills unhealthy, elderly people is more or less engineered to wipe out his base, if not just kill him.

Many Italian and Spanish football clubs want to suspend competitions in this season. Inter has already announced they're withdrawing from everything they can. A complete collapse of this year's European football seems imminent.

Coronavirus: Europe wakes up to chaos and confusion as Trump restricts travel
"Americans are stressed and just trying to get home," said an NBC News journalist at Berlin's main airport.

The decision by President Donald Trump to restrict most travel from 26 European countries sparked chaos at airports and confusion early Thursday, as the coronavirus pandemic continues to spread around the world.

Many Americans and foreigners wanting to travel to the United States were scrambling to work out what it meant for their plans. Meanwhile, others questioned the logic of Trump's move, and whether it would actually help the effort to slow down the spread of the deadly contagion.

das me literally right now

He has a fine line to straddle , though that will happen soon

In Ireland all schools, colleges and childcare facilities will be closed from tomorrow until the 29th of March, as will "cultural institutions". All gatherings over 100 people and outdoor gatherings over 500 people are to be cancelled.

RIP the pub trade

Official advice states : "outside of work, social interaction should be reduced as much as possible".

Haha, jokes on you government , I don't have friends, checkmate. Dab on Coronavirus.
