Phil has been outright begging for money and talking more and more about how streams are "slow". He's done it tonight a couple of times and complained that the earlier stream (where he got a bunch of gifted subs and $69 in tips) was also "slow".

Popsicolo and Morrowindlord are straight-up handholding Phil through this game. Popsicolo just asked Phil to show his major/minor skills so that he can literally tell him how to develop his character.

Edit: And now Phil is acting like he's some kind of badass for doing his usual "break through a wall with his face" method of completing a task. In this case, he had to be handheld to exactly where to find an item in a dungeon. He's also already been led to a magic item that will give him spears repeatedly. Finally, it's apparently "very hard to tell what you're supposed to be doing". Not like there's a fucking journal or anything.

Watching DSP play Morrowind for 5 minutes is like watching my Mom try to figure out how to use the Roku.

It's literally 80%+ menuing.

Edit: DSP yelled a guy for asking a question about him doing research before a game saying "what is the point of an interactive stream if I'm going to do research first? What's the point if I look the whole game up by myself?"

Yes, handholding DSP is literally the selling point of this stream.

It really can’t be stressed enough how truly terrible this morrowind playthrough is. It’s every single worst aspect of him rolled up into one.
I’ve never seen someone (Act) so confused In a video game before...it’s a fucking video game dood, just pay attention and play. He’s acting like he skipped 5 grades and trying to do math or science problems hes never seen before.

it’s just pure laziness and unwillingness to attempt to understand the game. And he’s phoning it in when people are telling him how to play. Someone told him “that ability is on cooldown once per day” and he just responds “oh yeah” like you can just tell he didn’t actull process what he just read, completely in one ear and out the other.

Not to mention him grilling a guy for not knowing what to do.
"If I looked up how to do everything, it would defeat the purpose of an INTERACTIVE stream!"
Yeah, the peepul love watching you sit there staring at your phone while the one or two viewers that actually understand this ancient game tell you step-by-step as to how to do absolutely everything. And having to pay money to make the instructions as crystal clear and simple as possible, otherwise you say "I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE HELL YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT".
Christ almighty, more trying to explain to his own viewers what they like. The same exact shit that birthed TiHYDP.
And why does he hold himself as an "interactive streamer", like that's something unique? Isn't that something every streamer does? That's like calling yourself an "interactive waiter".

Don't worry. Next stream is going to be about preparing. Meaning, he's going to have Popsicolo tell him how and what to craft such that he ends up overpowered and will be able to facetank everything again. Morrowind is notorious for being able to be broken with crafted items, and Phil is going to handheld right into those items. So then it will be his usual insufferable "DIS ISN'T DAT HARD. I DID IT MYSELF" bullshit.

I would love to hear him debunk what other streamers do when they're playing a game they have no history with. All those fucking normal people on Twitch, who put stuff like [BLIND] in their gameplay title, and will even add a bot command that tells people "The streamer doesn't know shit, don't spoil shit, and don't give hints unless they ask." But Phil, he has what's practically a live GameFaqs board telling him what's what; and that's interaction. Meanwhile he also complains about people who show up to just watch him die/rage. Yeah, people like to see a dancing monkey chimp out; there's streamers out there who use it as part of their schtick, and have things like menues where if you donate so much, you get to choose what sort of handicap/challenge/dancing monkey shit the streamer has to inflict on themselves. Yeah, they're gonna die a lot and not make much progress through the game, but people tune in, because they get to watch the monkey dance and die.

Actually, his current stance is "We're all going to get it anyway and there's nothing we can do about it." Somebody should call the WHO and let them know that their re.tard scientists don't know what they're doing.

I don't know exactly what date DSP hit us with his hot "give everybody the virus" take but I just saw this shared on Facebook and it was written 5 days ago:

CNBC’s Rick Santelli suggests giving everyone coronavirus to spare the economy.
Everyone in America should be given the coronavirus so the economic impact of the outbreak can be lessened, CNBC on-air editor Rick Santelli suggested Thursday.

But what he left unsaid was that such an approach could result in more than 11 million Americans dead.

Fucking lol he ended up having to apologize.

Pretty much 2AM his time, but please don’t be negative(to him)

I hope he gets the corona

I wonder why he's trying to be humble, he did slip up today and say he was "going through bankruptcy and uncertain about what will happen", changed his tune over the course of a week, he knew exactly what was happening, now he wants sympathy

he's probably prepping his wheelchair audience for some form of begging, he really needs extra money on top of the $10,000 he'll be getting in 4 days

March 26th can't come soon enough, I want to see the pig sweat

It's even worse: during the (unrecorded, obviously) clock-out segment of the early stream he assured everyone the stream hadn't been slow, even deeming it to have gone "pretty well, in my opinion". He did a complete 180 during the late stream, suddenly claiming the early stream had been "slow as well", as if he hadn't claimed the exact opposite not even five hours earlier...

I'm not easily baffled by DSP things anymore, but I actually couldn't believe my ears when he retconned that shit, looking straight into the camera without blinking an eye. I made a short compilation clip for archival purposes:

-EDIT-

MundaneDave (Youtube / Twitter) made a lengthier compilation of DSP's odd retconning and complaining during yesterday's streams:

The Sekiro special. Soon enough he'll say that "Morrowind was hard at first, but after I mastered the crafting system and truly understood how combat works, it became easy!".

He had to be drunk last night. "Middle of a bankruptcy proceeding and I don't know what's going to happen to me''.

I thought bankruptcies were just a big nothing burger you shouldn't be afraid of Dave. Except and you said it was a stupid idea 4 years ago. And now the outcome is a mystery.

That was after someone asked what his five-year plan is and he admitted he has none. Isn't he almost forty? Overweight, totally sedentary, and possibly a booze hound? And bankrupt? Does he have health insurance? This guy is relatively new to me but this should be alarming to anyone with two clackers rattling around his skull.

edit: wow, this guy is a bottomless pit of shame. Thank heavens this has all been archived on Youtube.

Dood, it's okay. He's gonna get a job in like 8 years now.
