Big Ten conference cancelled their basketball tourney. It took place in the NBA's Indiana Pacer's arena this year, so makes sense. Will be interesting to see if the big one (NCAA d1) is cancelled or they stick with going without fans.

One thing to note is that these regional games in the NCAA tourney take place in NBA, NHL arenas. Which as we know, the NBA already has two infected players, so any arena has the possibility of being only a few degrees of separation from someone who tested positive. I think most larger events pretty much need to schedule 5-6 months in advance, so it was probably the earliest that would be easy to do. Also, scheduling events in August or September in Vegas is usually a little rougher just because of the heat; turnout tends to be weaker because of it.

That's more or less what I was going to say. It almost feels like the UK exemption is DT trying to demonstrate some sort of favor to the UK as a exceptional 'reward' for leaving the EU. In all fairness, if he's going to do this anyway why not just ban all non essential travel into and out of the US for a couple of months? Personally I'm surprised he's not panicking more. An illness that kills unhealthy, elderly people is more or less engineered to wipe out his base, if not just kill him.

There are about as many non-schengen European countries as there are members, the UK being one of them. And it has nothing to do with nationality specifically, anyone among the already lower numbers of people trying to get on a plane to the US from anywhere will be scrutinized more thoroughly to determine if they're lying about having been to the zone if there isn't clear evidence they have.
