It's high time for Louis to take a tweet dump all over your computer screen again. This time he inadvertently admitted to owning even more expensive electronics, which I've saved for last. He also tried rebranding himself in his pinned tweet as being more sympathetic, being winds up just sounding plain old pathetic instead. He claims to be a "manic depressive," which I personally see as just an excuse for him to act as rash and as stupid as he always does but now with a stock excuse when it comes back to bite him. He also claims to be quite the philanthropist, which is laughable considering he's done no such thing, and betrays his "I'm helpless and need money" narrative anyway.

This would appear to be the Save A Lot on East Pittsburgh Street, which is closing on Saturday. We also learns that the store he lives a mile away from is a Dollar General, which is probably this one given its proximity to the Save A Lot. So, I'm not familiar with the prices in the US... But buying groceries for around 100$ per week vs. spending "only" 20$ a day in this other shop to get junk food doesn't amount to the same result? What kind of mathematical magic is this shit?
Also - 20$ a day? I don't spend 20$ a day, except for they days I have to go shopping. So 20$ a day rounds up to around 400$ a month in this case (plus an unknown amount of Pizza'n'Wings). With that he is way above the average spending for groceries of a single person household in the US which averages between 165$-345$ (Household as in: own place to live - the sticky hightech-fapcave doesn't count!)

And don't local grocery stores tend to be more expensive? Ebegging circlejerks online have run deep for years. One classic example was during the #GamerGate saga on Twitter, as people found out that journalists and the big players in the shitstorm were subscribing to each other on Patreon.

The trans one is notorious because it's not only huge, but it ends up defining the whole transgender community. If you find someone who says they're trans, I guarantee they'll have a "internet tip jar" of some sort such as PayPal, Cashapp, Venmo, Patreon, Ko-Fi, and many more. It's also a cliche to see them retweet other ebeggars. The common story is that their parents are bigots and they need to run away ASAP, or that they need HRT. Sometimes they get straight to the point and beg for iPads.

It's also famous because some people have planned to or have actually grifted the grifters. There was a screencap a while back of a 4chan user bragging about his plan to infiltrate the trans community and beg to get a new gaming laptop by saying he was in need of hrt/running away. Low and behold, someone actually pulled this stunt off on /r/chapotraphouse. All those $10 and $20 donations added up quick and he found himself at nearly $3,000.


That scene in general is also famous for using Patreon or donations to make money. Bernie got plenty of donations from college students and the Chapo Trap House podcast is patreon rich from all the subscribers. Plenty of people in said crowd need money to be "extremely online" and sit on Twitter all day.

Louis is far from the only one pulling this stunt for sure, when he could get a used iPad on eBay or a cheaper tablet.

The thing about buying food while broke is you need to be SMART. Don't by name-brand items, don't buy junk food. When you're broke, you focus on getting foods that can satisfy you. Pasta is really good at that. Anything with noodles will make you feel full. You can make boring ramen(less than a dollar) a lot better if you buy green onions and other cheap vegetables. Also, coupons are very useful, looking at grocery ads to see what is on sale is also a great idea. There are many many ways to not spend $100 on food unless you are buying for multiple people.
You can either spend $100 buying for a few days, or $20 for a week.
