Your boss is a cunt and I agree with everyone saying you should quit. Like next time he pulls that, just turn around and walk out on him. Retailers are going to be desperate for available workers real quick and I personally enjoy the thought of morons like that being immediately hit with regret.
Apparently we're allowed to use our sick time no questions asked right now so I'm cashing that out first, but then I'm out, it's supplementary anyway and retail jobs are a dime a dozen anyway. I live near a hotzone and it's just not worth it man.

I feel so bad for other workers who may not be able to leave as easily, it's a shitty position. I hope other companies are treating their employees better but I doubt it.

So final retail update: 2 screaming matches between customers today that ended with them getting escorted out by the police. People are losing their shit now, so everyone be careful out there. Also my boss is a cunt.

Now time to hunker down for a bit.

We have no Lysol or equivalent in Eastern Europe.

Closest is bleach spray. But it will really damage clothing.
Theatrical costumers use either isopropyl alcohol or cheap vodka in a spray bottle to kill odor-causing bacteria in costumes that can't be cleaned between performances. Granted, bacteria are not viruses, but in the absence of other options, it's worth a try.

Their now going deep with it being "Murrica's fault."

"A Chinese government spokesman said Thursday that "it might be US Army who brought the epidemic to Wuhan," pushing one of several popular coronavirus conspiracy theories in China.

Zhao Lijian, a Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman, called attention to the admission Wednesday by Robert Redfield, the director of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, that some Americans who were said to have died from influenza may have actually died from the coronavirus (COVID-19).

"When did patient zero begin in US? How many people are infected?" he asked. "What are the names of the hospitals? It might be US Army who brought the epidemic to Wuhan. Be transparent! Make public your data! US owe us an explanation!"

In a short thread on Twitter, a social media platform inaccessible in China, Zhao demanded to know how many of the 34 million influenza infections and 20,000 associated deaths during this latest flu season were related to COVID-19.

The coronavirus, now a pandemic, first appeared in the central Chinese city of Wuhan, capital of hard-hit Hubei province and the epicenter of a serious outbreak that has claimed the lives of thousands, the majority in China....."
The US Army isn't anywhere near China you bat eating Chink mongoloid. MacArthur was right.

Andalucia still hasn't answered, and if my center is to be taken as an example the reason is because they won't even get the department heads together to consider it till 9 o clock, fucking kek, national emergency can wait we take things at our pace, catalonia and extremadura are complying.
Are you suggesting that the Moorish part of Spain might run on Colored People Time?

In one country I went to, amber Listerine was unavailable because homeless people would drink it.

What effects will Corona-chan have on air travel for the time being? Will prices go up to countries you can travel to? I sometimes get confused at travel economics.

Living in the ass end of nowhere here. Nearest confirmed case is hundreds of miles away but I'm already feeling anxiety kicking in. Went to the local store and people are already stocking up on TP even out here in the middle of bumfuck nowhere. Haven't seen any hand sanitizer on the shelves for a while.

I got a decent stock of both and should be fine for at least a month (note: not bought out of panic - they're my regular buys), mostly just worried about the cost of everything else. Food and everything is already price gouged as it is out here. Probably going to stock up in the next few days so I can hunker down for a few weeks.

Don't like this feeling. Gotta keep telling myself all of these cancellations are for the best - trying to ebb the spread - but it's just fucking spooky. Feels very similar to when 9/11 first happened, that sense of foreboding everywhere because no one knows what is going on and so much of it is sensational garbage and people freaking the fuck out. What makes it worse though is that 9/11 was due to a bunch of assholes on a few airplanes. Now I'm like watching my coworkers to see if they so much as sneeze.

Gotta put my mind on something else for a bit. What happens, happens, right?

Isopropyl alcohol kills all known viruses too. It destroys everything if it it strong enough...
