The analysis of the letter writing feels compelling that it's Douce trying to obfuscate his writing. The timing lines up with him mailing from Florida, and the letters have been wheeled out only when they strategically think it's best, rather than parading it around everywhere shrieking as they would from such a powerful gotcha as getting actual death threats mailed to them.

I'm convinced this is a gay op because it simply doesn't line up with being a hyper autistic ISWV fool. They're asking us to accept this:

1 - An ISWVer who's so autistic they look up the doxes for very specific KV members (but not too many) which most benefit from getting death threats - including for some baffling reason Renfamous but not Hanleia or Beth?

2 - Said ISWVer is familiar enough with KF and on top of things so that they present themselves as if they know the memes and common insults toward the various people they're targeting...but they get them all wrong. 'Harvey Weinstein' and not 'Harvey Weebstein'? No mention of sacred lotion? Fire crotch?? Weak, childish vague threats that aren't even lurid?

3 - Purposeful attempts to make the person look unintelligent. Not only do they boomer through buzzwords or weeb wars memes like someone who sort of (but not really) knows them, but in multiple letters they scratch out a word in their chicken-scratch pen. They can afford to mail several letters across the country simultaneously, but they can't afford an extra page of notebook paper, during Back to School season, when you can get a notebook for literally 20 cents?

4 - Notebook page to make them look young, poor, and dumb, instead of printer paper? Plus, handwritten letters instead of printing it out? This person is meant to be someone who's plugged into the internet and anime so much that they're willing to send death threats to random people over internet anime drama, but they don't print out their death threats in bold text on printer paper, where they can backspace away any errors and won't have handwriting to identify?

5 - They have the handwriting, budget and thought processes like an angry child, but the ability to function like an adult in researching doxes, (sort of) keeping up with the drama, putting together threats, and mailing them all at the same time, knowing not to include a return address?

I think Douce is the most likely person who wrote it, but it's definitely a hoax created by KV's side with the knowledge of those who received the letter anyway. It's telling that only Lauren was willing to take the hoax far enough to actually get the USPS involved just to prove she's legit.

Here's my theory:

MoP sent his email on Sept 5th, and was stupid enough to send a death wish that could be interpreted as a death threat. A bunch of other people around this time started harassing Chupp on FB and basically having a little meltdown. Chupp also reacts with paranoia to it and immediately orders an emergency hearing about it

Doucette, Renfamous, and Marchi (at least) see this and go "I hope they'll send us some, we could really use that to crank up the fees requests and milk some more victim points out now that we've 'won'." - To their disappointment, none come.

Luckily, Doucette was scheduled to go down to Florida on a trip no one knew was happening, because he was planning to surprise propose to his girlfriend before the hearing on sanctions would be done. He travels down to Florida about Oct 5th - which I think is the day of the mediation? Before anyone could have any news about what the results of that mediation was? - and writes up those letters, sends them out, and then immediately starts teasing them when they come in the mail. Lauren races out to get hers 'certified', and Marchi immediately whips it out in the hope of cranking up her fees.

A final addendum about the letters: The email and FB spam all happened shortly after the Chuppening, This was during the initial panic, when people were being overdramatic, talking about burning down the industry or jumping off of bridges, and Marchi was grinding her smugness in people's faces. By the time these letters were sent, Nick had already outlined the path to appeal, Chupp had an emergency session panicking over the emails, and a highly irregular mediation was ordered that specifically dragged Marchi back into it.

Basically, the person who would hypothetically have written these didn't write them during the height of hysteria and kickvic smug, but after people had already started looking toward appeals, presumably written while still waiting on mediation and then mailed before people knew what the mediation results would be, the day before Chupp could possibly have just reversed everything without appeal. Thus, I argue that the postmark itself is evidence it's a hoax.

The person who took over Nick's former Twitter handle is posting Chuck Huber's divorce documents.

(By the way, Ty Beard brought An Lee Hsu on because he was impressed by him when he was opposing council in a case he was on. This was mentioned when he was announced in September.)

And there we go. Buttik shows of his tin foil hat.

Well for that story I will have to go back few years, but to sum it up Chuck was venting on FB about how his then wife was telling people that Chuck needed to " speak" to someone and that he was spouting unholy things in front of their children. He just answered a question his kid asked him about his mother, and once she found out she flipped out. Going as far as to call a priest on him. When I see things like this it brings back memories of what my dad had to put up with his ex. The situation was fucked from the word jump, and I sympathized with the dude.

I'm curious what Huber thinks he's doing that's clever. The obvious stupid thing he's actually doing is giving Lawtwitter more material, but what could he possibly think he's doing as an 'aha' that Nick suspects he's trying to pull?
Making a connection of a possible conspiracy to essentially throw Vic's legal team under the bus(Or making it possibly harder on them), because he was likely threatened or did this under pressure of being the "next one thrown under the bus"

Back in November, Chuck Huber tried to get everyone to quiet down because he said that the hostility was hurting his ability to feed his family. He chastised Vic's supporters and called Lynn Hunt his friend. She apparently wanted him to eat shit because she kept trying to cancel Ryan Kopf's conventions that he was attending as a guest and Shane later outed him as being Ryan Kopf's business partner at Anime Dallas. Jinnie McManus also dropped him as a client when his attempt at mediation was leaked by Ron and Monica in their TCPA motion.

I don't know what would compel him to put himself in the spotlight again by giving Law Twitter his divorce documents. If you read their comments, they don't think highly of him. If Nick hadn't said anything, I would had guessed that his wife did it. His "All is not what it seems" tweet could be seen as him pre-empting whatever she was going to release, like, don't believe everything you read.

Martinez Hsu had been representing her in their divorce and they withdrew as her council about a month after they were brought on as council for Vic's case.

Nick's of the opinion that it wasn't the ex, but Chuck himself.

It still begs the question of what the goal is. This is either retardation or 5D space chess, and I don't think it's the latter.

Also, he thinks @LawArchive is the Shoe Eater

Yeah, but that's not a clever 'gotcha', that's just willfully sabotaging Vic, which Huber has never done to this point. He's done stupid stuff that inadvertently sabotaged Vic, yes, but never thrown him under the bus. Thus. I have to assume based on his tweet, his history, and Nick's two comments of "I think I know what Chuck's trying to do, and it's stupid", Chuck thinks he's making a high IQ move to help himself and likely Vic. I just don't know what it is he thinks he's doing. Since he's failing at it.

Their divorce appears to be ongoing, so his ex-wife might want to hurt him by making her accusations public. There wouldn't be much benefit to Chuck if he aired her dirty laundry, because she's not in the public eye. Law Twitter wouldn't care what his wife did, and they don't like him. They wouldn't smear his wife on his behalf.

She wouldn't need to have any personal affiliation with Law Twitter. Whoever is representing her could have gone to them. Isn't that what sleazy lawyers do in divorces like these? Martinez Hsu dumped her for Vic, so making that connection isn't hard.

I think Chuck is just muddying the waters. Not intelligently, just distracting people. He cryptically made a statement and now everyone is thinking there is some bigger link.
