I think if I remember correctly this turned out fine for the baby, and generally younger children seem to be totally fine for whatever reason. Cant find any follow up with all the chaos in Wuhan.Fuuuuuuck! I had heard on my local news that pregnant women and babies while at a slightly higher risk should be okay. I should have taken it with a grain of salt I suppose.
I give birth in two fuckin days and this scares me so much. The hospital I'm going to already is limiting guests I can have along with visiting hours, screening people before entry and seems to be taking good measures to protect people, but this doesn't help ease my anxiety.
Sorry for the TMI I just haven't seen any info about newborns or post partum mothers regarding Corona-chan until now and I've been kinda scared.

Payback a few centuries later after what Europeans gave the world.I think its funny that all this shit comes from China. The gooks gave us swine flu, sars and other shit.
Like, what exactly are you referring to? The Black death?Payback a few centuries later after what Europeans gave the world.
The Black Death probably originated in Central Asia or East Asia,[6][7][8][9][10] from where it travelled along the Silk Road, reaching Crimea by 1343.[11] From there, it was most likely carried by fleas living on the black rats that traveled on Genoese merchant ships, spreading throughout the Mediterranean Basin, reaching the rest of Europe via the Italian peninsula.
I'm just gonna eat my neighbors."I was going to give you a nice reply back until you made fun of me"
Yeah, sorry dude, but this shit really angers me.
When people think of the world ending, they get an idea of preppers dancing with glee saying, "Fuck you, I was right!"
But let it be known to normies that's not what it feels like at all.
I don't look at empty isles and feel superior or a sense of pride that I got there two months in advance. I feel nothing but anger. Anger that people didn't care enough to do the bare minimum. That's ALL you need to do.
All you needed to do was give a shit enough to do basic prep just in case something like this got worse. I feel anger at man's stupidity in lacking, as your sign says, common sense.
No shit people are going to take advantage of you when you run out of shit. Why wouldn't they? Hell, you could get four rolls of toilet paper for a dollar at the dollar store. Why wouldn't I sell that shit for a higher price? People are always going to take advantage of you in dire situations. It's almost human nature.
The fact I kept trying to tell people I cared about this and they just rolled their eyes makes it incredibly frustrating. And they STILL get angry when I keep trying to tell them to stock on shit like vitamins to keep their immune systems up when there's still shit there.
The biggest threat of a virus is and will always BE people. THAT is what you need to prepare for. You SHOULD'VE prepared against that bitch taking all the toilet paper from Costco and the fact that you didn't leaves no sympathy in my heart for you. You're not angry at her, you're angry you weren't there five minutes earlier to BE her.
Copy and paste this shit.
I'm familiar with Perth. If you shut down the flights there is no getting to Perth really, you've got to cross the desert.Dont lie to me now.
Idaho has its first case of COVID-19, according to health officials.

- “The woman is self-isolating in her home in Ada County. She’s not at Costco with everyone else,” Brandon Atkins at Central District Health said.
- Central Dist. Health epidemiologists are working to trace any close contacts and where the person may have been.
- CDH said they do not believe any other Idahoans were at the conference.
- She returned via the Boise Airport.
- “The risk to the general population remains low,” Elke Shaw-Tulloch, Idaho’s Administrator of Public Health said.
- Atkins said a “thorough investigation” is underway.
- The conference happened in late February and early March.
- Atkins emphasized there is “very little risk” to the general population.
- The woman was screened for the flu before being given a COVID test. The lab was given the sample late yesterday and turned it around today.

- 1:00pm: Butte in Boise at Boise Centre tonight has been canceled. All local events for the next few weeks have been postponed – but they’ve been moved to other dates in the year. This includes the Boise Flower and Garden Show.
- 12:40pm: Race to Robie Creek will not be held on April 18th. Race organizers are discussing next steps.
- 11:22am: Saint Alphonsus Health System implemented visitor restrictions: no visitors under 14, on visitor per patient, don’t visit if you are sick.
- 11:20am: ISU-Meridian has closed for cleaning. Twelve people are now in self-isolation.
- 10am:Gov. Little emphasizes there are still no cases.
- He is declaring a state disaster, which will free up resources – including items from the national stockpile, and could add nurses to the ranks who may have left the profession or retired.
- Little says if someone has a fever or cough, they should contact their medical provider. Residents without symptoms will not be tested. Flu will be ruled out first.
- Little: “We are prepared for coronavirus. We are communicating with businesses, schools, local elected officials and the general public every day. We must not be alarmed, but we must be prepared. Individually or collectively, we have a duty to protect the vulnerable. Do what you can to help your neighbors and loved ones who need support.”
- 131 people have been tested: 118 through Idaho’s state lab, and 13 through commercial labs. There are zero confirmed cases.
- Idaho’s state lab has adopted a more rapid process and added a second FDA-approved machine. The state has had to prioritize tests. Dr. Christine Hahn, the state’s medical director, said more commercial testing capacity is needed.
- “We acknowledge we should be testing more Idahoans,” Hahn said. She said the state has asked medical providers to limit cases submitted to the sickest. State clearly wants to ramp up testing but has some structural limitations.
- Hahn said there is no timeline on when everyone who wants a test could get a test.
- Hahn said they are looking at models that could show 15-35% of Idahoans being ill.“We don’t know, but we are estimating fifteen percent. Many of those cases could be very mild.”
- Idaho has about 1.8 million residents. 15% would be 270,000 folks.
- Does Idaho have enough hospital capacity? A big unknown, according to Hahn. They are trying to take steps to mitigate. “We are concerned about our capacity to help everyone. We are hoping to spread this out. If there is a wave of illnesses, we don’t want it to be all at once.”
- The state is forming a new “strike team” to help the elderly and those who may be health compromised.
- On schools:Superintendents have the authority to close schools, according to Little. “The issue is, we don’t know where we are. If you close schools too early, you might not be there at the right time. If we do this, have to do it at the right time.”
- The state held a teleconference with schools yesterday. State superintendent Sherri Ybarra said her team is encouraging districts to be proactive, not reactive. Looking at digital and distance learning.
- For now, closing schools is a local decision – but Ybarra said “that could change.”
- Ybarra also said the state is working on how to provide meals – via drop off packets and other methods, “in the event we have a massive closure.”
- Businesses: “Everyone has to look at their individual business: what’s critical to them? If you don’t have paid leave, and your people show up sick – it’s not a good business practice. I’m very concerned about businesses that touch a lot of the public. They darn sure shouldn’t have sick people showing up for work.”
- Churches: Each church needs to assess, and should consult with health districts.
- Seasonal? Hahn said it’s unclear. She said there is concern from the spate of cases in Australia (where it’s currently summer). They are hoping it is seasonal, like the flu.
- One bright spot? This has been a mild flu season in Idaho, according to Little.
- Should Idahoans stock up? “They ought to think about their neighbors. People shouldn’t hoard things. It’s good to have some supplies, but you don’t need more than a 21 day supply. A prudent supply is one thing, hoarding is another.” Little says retailers who have ‘pick up and go’ are at an advantage.
- If Idaho has an official case, it could trigger additional measures, Little said. It depends on where the person is, and what contact they’ve had.
- The legislative session’s end could be expedited, according to Little.
- The state has posted new guidance to its website.
- 9:51am: Gov. Brad Little will declare a state of emergency for the State of Idaho. Details at 10am during a news conference.
- 9:45am: CBS2 reports the Idaho Center and Nampa Civic Center will cancel all events for 250 people or more.
- 9:31am:Central District Health issued new guidance
- It supports venues and event managers postpone or canceling mass gatherings.
- It says they recommend canceling any mass gathering of 250 people or more, where it will draw participants from out of state, or if the primary audience is in a high-risk group
- CDH does not currently recommend school closures
- 8:16am: The City of Nampa announced it would hold a special meeting of its council to discuss closing the Idaho Center and the Nampa Civic Center.
- 8:01am: Gov. Brad Little will hold a news conference on Coronavirus at 10am. It will be live-streamed on Facebook. The news release specifically says Idaho still has no cases.
- Classes as Boise State will be held entirely online Friday in what is being described as a test.
Wouldn't it be nice if kids had adults that were required to feed them so they didn't have to rely on schools?
At least half of all nurses are rock stupid.
Google Translate said:An elderly woman in Västra Götaland has died after becoming infected with the coronavirus and falling ill. She is the second person in the country to die after being infected by the new virus.
- It is a woman of 85 years who has died at Sahlgrenska due to corona, says Karin Markhede, communicator at Sahlgrenska Hospital in Gothenburg, to TT
The woman had been cared for in intensive care for some time and also had other complicating diseases. Markhede cannot say how the woman was infected by the virus but refers the matter to the infection protection in the region.
"It is very sad and tragic, but not entirely unexpected when you look at how other countries have suffered multiple deaths," says Peter Ulleryd, infectious disease doctor at Infection Protection Västra Götaland.
How has the woman been infected by the virus?
- I have no knowledge of that, says Peter Ulleryd.
Due to related parties, Region Västra Götaland will not disclose any personal information about the deceased person.
- The woman died as a result of airway infection caused by covid-19 and she had several other diseases. But we do not go into details about individual patients and for the sake of relatives I do not want to go into that death in more detail, says Per-Olof Hansson, chief physician at Sahlgrenska University Hospital.
On Wednesday, a person died at Karolinska University Hospital in Huddinge as a result of the virus. The patient was older than 70 years and had covid-19, the disease that causes the virus, as well as the underlying disease.
Approximately 800 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Sweden. But the reason for sampling can vary, which means that the comparison with different countries and regions can fail.
- Other healthy people who have respiratory problems no longer need to come in for sampling. It is now a priority to protect risk groups such as the elderly and people with chronic diseases from being infected. Then it is important that those who are infected stay at home and that you do not visit people in hospitals if you feel the least ill, says Per-Olof Hansson.
He says the Sahlgrenska hospital also plans to cut down on the planned care.
- All care that does not have to be done now, we will push to mobilize all our power against the corona virus, says Per-Olof Hansson.
Infection protection in Västra Götaland has also made a strategic change and will focus on the elderly.
- Our capacity is not enough to test everyone. I have full understanding that you want to know if you are infected or not, but we must concentrate on those who are really sick. If you are young or middle-aged and can be cared for at home, you do not need to be tested, says Peter Ulleryd.
The corona virus also continues to spread throughout the world.
- Not least in Europe where we have several countries where the infection is rising and continues to increase. We have Switzerland that has started and reported many cases, but it should be remembered that these are diagnosed cases and do not have to be the whole picture of the number of infected, said Deputy State Epidemiologist Anders Wallensten at a press conference on Friday.
- You have to keep that in mind when you see the reporting from different countries. It is sometimes like comparing apples and pears.
9 more now, making the number of detected cases 93. And it will grow as right now 4414 tests have been made with over 1500 during the last 24 hours. (Talking about Poland). We start the day with an increase by 16 confirmed cases for a total of 84. But there's good news: after a scary beginning with multiple people with poor prognosis (two of whom are already dead), only one of the last 60 coronavirus patients is in poor condition.
Nursing is the female equivalent of IT or maybe Law School. It's where thots and the like go because they've been told it's easy and stupid amounts of money. From what I understand many of them don't even get jobs in the nursing industry due to massive, massive oversaturation.
I want to say something again about H1N1, it had a much higher mortality rate amongst the young than COVID-19 but was never taken seriously. They never closed any schools or universities over swine flu like they're doing over COVID. I just can not understand this?
This is just ridiculous. SARS and H1N1 never produced such hysteria and government protocols. We currently have few cases in Canada yet they are closing schools, businesses and are really to enforce ''social distance''. Back in the day, SARS infected hundreds of people in Toronto and there was virtually none of this. I don't even remember a government statement issue, just nothing.
I'm finding this all completely inappropriate. Pathologists agree it's not particularly deadly to most people and there is NOT many cases in the U.S or Canada yet we have this insane reaction.
