There are even a fair number of anarchists who hate antifa in part because of the pedophilia and in part because the antifa people are sociopaths who have found a philosophy that matches their personality disorder. But they're afraid to speak up because anyone, including any anarchist, who speaks out against these sociopaths will be met with violence and death threats. I know this culture inside and out.

True, but let's not kid ourselves either. Punk was never good to begin with, and it's always been a subculture built on purity spirals and conformity pretending to be anti-conformity.

Tellingly, both the Neo-Nazi skinhead and Antifa movements spawned from punk culture, as did the Straight Edge and Riot Girl movements alongside the Goth and Emo subcultures.

Even hipsters and dangerhairs spawned from punk in a roundabout sort of way, often aping the punk aesthetic and trying to actively emulate the punk scene of the 70's and 80's by LARP'ing as a woke 2010's version of it, although the hipsters also liberally borrowed a lot from the hippies and beatniks as well.

A lot of today's dangerhairs and art thots were also often goths, punks, or emo when they were younger.
