For some reason my phone is having issues copying and pasting the text over, but I’ll do it later today. I’ll also post part of the signature later without numbers, names, etc. but basically my uncle works at Sandia Labs and this isn’t considered confidential information, so he said that I could pass it along to others.

A lot of this is already known, but I thought these notes were interesting and wanted to pass this on. Basically a lot of people are going to die and this is just the beginning.

First, this level of infection. 70% of the country will be infected? Corona is nasty, but isnt THAT aggressive. Measels couldnt infect more then half the country at once, and that disease had an infection rate far higher then coronavirus. They are using italy's numbers for their guestimate. OK, so if you are using italy's numbers, why are you assuming a 1% death rate and not 3-6%? They say we are a week behind italy, well a week ago italy was seeing the death rate spike, we are not seeing that here. We are not seeing the rapid escalation italy did. And what is their basis for the 40-70% number? Most hard hit countries are only testing people in hospitals, we have no idea what the actual infection rate is. Even if only 5% of italy was infected right now, that would still be 1500/1 odds of survival at 2000 deaths. So how are they figuring 70% infected rate?

Second, spreading through the summer. Viruses, ALL viruses, are vulnerable to heat and sunlight as a result of their design. UV radiation is lethal to viruses. Red lung isnt some hyper aggressive protozoa virus hybrid. The higher humidity, warmer, sunnier weather is going to put a significant dent both in Corona's community spread rate and its effectiveness in infecting people. This has been shown in limited numbers by africa, despite close ties with china, the continent has seen very limited spread of the disease, some may say its because their infrastructure cant track the disease, I disagree. I firmly believe its because the weather there is not well suited for flu/cold viruses, they never manage a strong foothold in Africa, coronavirus is no different then the other 4 main strains that struggle to get any significant infection base there.

If it DOES stick around at a low level all summer, that would end up being a good thing, ironically. The disease hanging around that long would give much of the population the opportunity to develop immunity to the disease in lower doses. Basically it would end up vaccinating most of the population against itself.

I'm going to assume that this is fake just based on the following, never mind the lack of official confirmation or damage control:

  • Observations on China
    • Unlike during SARS, China’s scientists are publishing openly and accurately on COVID-19.
    • While China’s early reports on incidence were clearly low, that seems to trace to their data management systems being overwhelmed, not to any bad intent.
    • Wuhan has 4.3 beds per thousand while US has 2.8 beds per thousand. Wuhan built 2 additional hospitals in 2 weeks. Even so, most patients were sent to gymnasiums to sleep on cots.
    • Early on no one had info on COVID-19. So China reacted in a way unique modern history, except in wartime.

The prep insanity has hit the local stores too. Not only TP, but paper towels. Also noodles and rice.

I really despise smartphone culture and social media. There was never this much panic over the swine and bird flus. If the doomsayers are right and society collapses someday, the honknet* is going to make things so much worse (if it's still a thing when a collapse happens).

Not all of us. Food stamps were seriously a great impetus for me to eat better and lose weight. Just saying, not all your tax money is going to selfish waste.

Also, this hysteria finally made me go buy a bidet. I feel silly for waiting this long. They're cheap, simple to install and everyone should have one today.

My own hometown is also under quarantine (with no reported cases) and the National Guard have been deployed to enforce it. My hometown has less than twenty-thousand people. The local sheriff's office had so many calls about it from people sharing on social media that they had to release an official statement saying it was obvious bullshit.

This coupled with people buying twelve years worth of toilet paper for no fucking reason have made me pretty MATI and salty today. What the fuck are you going to use all that paper for? If it gets so bad that you run out of toilet paper, just fucking shit and shower. Holy shit. There isn't a scrap of meat, tard cum, or toilet paper to be had in my town. The fucking produce section? Stocked fucking full. There's more dry rice and beans in my local grocery than I could eat in a thousand lifetimes, because none of the stupid fucks around here even know how to cook it in the first place.

It's hilarious how stupid people have become over this virus, and how dumb companies have been. Large gatherings are being banned, yet people have just decided to clog their local grocery stores (previously, sporting events) instead. Old people roaming around like they're immune, yet are the most vulnerable. Untested, asymptomatic athletes were playing games for a while until a few tested positive, then everything shut down, yet some sports/games are still being held with closed door policy. There's a large list of PR e-mails from companies that seem plagiarized, either word-for-word or paraphrased, being sent around. Everybody's lost their goddamn minds

I’m willing to verify the email with a mod. I am not an expert on the subject and honestly I hope they’re just being pessimistic. I’m crossing my fingers it’s not that infectious and that they’re overestimating the number of deaths. The information could very well be wrong but the email is legitimate, I also thought it was odd that it said China was forthcoming because they’re not, but then again maybe it’s referring to particular Chinese scientists and not the government?

I honestly can’t believe how much Drumpf has managed to fuck this up. I’m literally crying in my studio apartment. No toilet paper. No testing. Only ramen noodles to fill me up for three weeks.

First Drumpf tried to take away my Obamacare. I was literally promised health insurance from the Constitution. Then this asshole tried to take away my pre-existing condition protections. I literally couldn’t get health insurance with my fibromyalgia if he was successful, and I would have died alone in the street.

This “man” clearly has no appreciation for either human life or dignity. I am unsurprised that this pandemic is going to kill us all.

Maybe not as insane as it sounds? Chances of getting this in any prolonged outbreak are fairly high for healthcare workers, as seen in china and italy. Not like there's going to be enough PPE to go around anyways if that is the case. Logistics of this sound like a nightmare to sort out but really is there any scenario where they aren't?
