I have no idea why anyone wouldn't think it would eventually come to this. Reddit has slowly began to ban subs that are just the slightest bit offensive to the average person's sensibilities. They wont ever bad anything too left leaning because I beg that is where alot of the power users are. I wouldn't be surprised if reddit starts introducing scripts/word filters that DMs people about how the use of said word is offensive or out right censors it. Honestly the sooner the site gets to its final form,a news aggregator, the better imo.

I am still of the opinion that reddit is one of the worst things to happen to the internet hands down.

I just wanna point out how a few years ago, Reddit banned r/fatpeoplehate because fatsos are a protected class on Reddit, but left r/coontown active for several more months. Despite countless people pointing that out. r/coontown even had an "Endorsed by reddit!" banner or something for a while, because even the lads that ran that sub couldn't believe it.
