If all your vaccines work then why are all you pro-vaccinators in a hype about a VIRUS? I thought your medical priests -- er, "doctors" -- know it all and have all the answers?
There are a few layers to unpack here.
Firstly, admitting we don't know everything is how science starts. We ask how, we propose a hypothesis, we test that hypothesis, and usually, it doesn't work 100% right away, so we discard the part that doesn't, and come up with a new hypothesis, and test that. Hypotheses are tested to give shape to a comprehensive explanation, a theory, that strongly explains the natural world.
Now, we know from virus theory that the human immune system fights off viruses by identiying, analyzing, and then outright dissolving infecting viruses (This is the simplified version, but you get the idea). It does however have to learn the virus, and Covid 19 is a new virus, so both the human body and the scientific community need time to analyze and create defenses against it.
Now, vaccines work because they contain inert, harmless versions of a virus for the body to identify and practice on, so it can readily identify and attack the real thing. With Covid 19 we're in the process of developing that vaccine, so the medical community is asking people to protect themselves from infection until we can more readily knock out the virus and build up what is called a herd immunity to prevent the rapid spread of the disease.

Sorry to disappoint but foster care isn't an agency to be pimped out like a tool for people to attack others when they don't agree with their religious beliefs or lifestyle choices. "Works" is a misnomer. It DOESN'T "work". It's poison in a needle under the guise of "health care". Just like birth control which causes breast cancer, ovarian cancer, uterine cancers, and uterine cysts. It's all poison. The medical industry fakes they care with pink ribbons to "Save the Ta-Tas" but they are the ones dolling out the poison in the first place!
It does work, though. The germ and virus theories of disease, and vaccines as a result of them have greatly reduced the occurrence of disease and death.
