This has been bothering me, so I figured I would look up how much might have been spent on Marvel: Future Fight. I found this post from 2017 that suggests the highest VIP level (20) requires approximately $13,000-$14,000 if a person bought optimally. This does not include deals on giftcards and the like.

***I also do not know what Phil's VIP level was/is in this game. If someone wants to install it and check, please share, but I don't care enough to do it. I just wanted to see what the total might have been.

Edit: Here's an Ebay sale for an account that claims $30,000 (and 2 years) spent to basically kit the entire thing out posted in mid-2019. So given that Phil was probably playing through 2018, it's reasonable to think, given the comparatively lower price, that he was at or near VIP 20.

VIP in marvel future fight doesn't seem to be on the profile

it seems to be hidden in the settings

some stats are on par with the whale4sale account, except DSP's damage is sometimes 50% of the $5,000 ebay account, he was definitely on his way

I remember someone shining some light on how inefficient DSP's whaling was, link

My favourite part about his continued spending with bankruptcy proceedings going on is it is his last hurrah.

Of all the ways to go out, KP double special all your creditors, the irs and enemies, go out in a blaze of glory...by spending money on sweaty man pixels.

That's what I find amazing about this. Imagine being Phil and your whole symbol of your status as an "adult" is you have a kahndo, like an adult has.

And then you lose it because of a gacha game like something a 12 year old boy would run up his parents' credit cards on.

Pulling wrestlers doesn't make Phil happy.

Pay2winning for autistic guild clout does, it seems.

I would bet money that Phil cares more about 'missing' a wrestler than he does getting one.

The fact a whale of his level is missing wrestlers means either they're low level garbage used to buff better wrestlers so he doesnt have any of the lowest filler garbage.

Or, more likely, he missed the extra rare Mick Foley hell in a cell special card from year one and just like the wolverine toy it will haunt him to his grave.

300 dollars is chump change to make sure he has the shiniest new toy and his discord members are jealous. Any price to never miss out on a one off wrestler. Imagine how much it burns knowing someone has an extra rare vintage wrestler and he doesnt.

He is a bigger chump than any of his own paypigs. He is the paypigroach. It takes him an army of paypigs just to do his own paypigging.

Probably asked before, but why in the ever living fuck would you name your account after your online name when you know that you have people looking into everything you goddamn have

I think the creativity part of his brain is gone. Just like how every create a character he makes is just himself.

Or it could be that he thought he could deny it and be fine. Just like how "nobody" guessed the Jasper reveal because everyone said he had a NEW cat. King of semantics.

Or maybe he just didn't think about it.

Or maybe he just didn't give a fuck.

My worthless take: when he set up the account he didn't plan on turning it into one of the most embarrassing things ever. Now he can't rename or abandon the account, and he's got five figures "invested" in it.

Philip's Supercard addiction was known and mocked before he made this account, so it was already embarrassing and damaging to his blossoming e-begging business. It was more important for Phil to let everyone know he's rich and wastes exorbitant amounts of money.

It was known, but as the thread title says, he wasn't bankrupt and having his home foreclosed on while continuing to spend that money. No one would have known or cared he played WWE games if not for the absurd financial recklessness by this mature adult. That's the part that makes it entertaining.

He's added another wrestler to go up to 216, presumably the new Bret Hart NWO 2000. He's doing pretty well in the new contest, reminder that he said he wasn't going to spend on the game any more for the rest of the month. Even on a private discord server he can't tell the truth.

Can I just reiterate how much it blows my mind that this guy is still whaling out not only in the middle of a bankruptcy but now also a pandemic. It takes a special kind of crazy to not snap out of it. Phil's riding this train all the way, even though the tracks end with a blatant cliff ahead.

I wouldn't read too much into his placement in the current contest yet, as the only tours so far have used older characters that he could have easily leveled up.

The new stuff doesn't look all that great this month, so unless he gets one of the new Hall of Fame guys it probably won't mean much in regards to spending.

posted on discord 13th March, doesn't care about the wrestlemania event

now he's TOP 30?

I don't think you can accidentally fall into the top 30 of anything without caring

Ever downloaded a game that you have to "sign in" to using whatever automated service? Some ask for Facebook, some ask for Google/Gmail, others ask for Twitter and other shit.... Phil is so overwhelmingly lazy that he'll just speed-tap through prompts to whale in his game and completely overlook the screen name of his accounts.

You can actually name yourself whatever you want in WWE Champions though, it's independent of your Google Play / Apple / Facebook account or whatever. So this dumbfuck willingly chose the same name as some of his social media names.

Anyways. He got another wrestler, 217 and counting! Down to 28th place in the contest but his score has incremented.

He is powerless against his sweaty muscle man jpeg addiction.

Phil can’t even go to Gamblers Anonymous because he couldn’t endure the disbelief and hysterical laughter that would ensue after having to explain to the group that his gambling involved spending tens of thousands to “win” pixelated images of half naked men on his phone.

He’d probably start crying after having to confirm for the upteenth time that, yes, he was addicted to a form of gambling where you can’t ever win any money.
