London remains the hardest hit of the whole of the UK, with 621 cases as of yesterday, or 24% of all UK cases.

Still not agreeing that mass testing is going to do much except for those who are symptomatic.

People are going to go out no matter what and no amount of manpower exists to force Americans to quarantine. America is not like China where people live in massive bug hives with limited exits that can be controlled. Just not gonna happen. Best thing to do is assume that every public surface is a risk and avoid contact and proximity no matter what. Remember, the CCP hid this shit for over a month while there were direct flights from Hubei to the US. Assume the virus has already penetrated the US population deeply because that's the most logical outcome of the cover-up.

Spazzing about there not being enough tests done or that we don't know where all someone infected has been is pointless. Even if both of those things are done it's only a false sense of security because of the CCP allowing this shit to pop off. You can't trace back an epidemolical timeline for something you didn't know existed. So just do as I said earlier, assume it's already spread and that going anywhere in public requires extra attention.

The only reason I'd say we need it is for statistic purposes when it's all said and done, so we can understand how Corona-chan fucks you up better. But we can't even get testing done right here in the first place with many doctors refusing to test because Daddy CDC said not to so yeah with the current situation it's fucking useless

Got my n95 mask yesterday. Since this country is a fucked piece of shit I still have to work but I can do so while larping as Subzero's cousin.

Found out a couple days ago 2 older folks I know (56, 57) have the covid. Both fairly large, one has asthma and he ain't doing well. At all. Its a fuckin travesty and I hope everyone in this thread is actually considering the right things to do. The other one isn't getting it so rough but we'll see how it pans out. Be safe out there guys.

I mean, if you did test positive the doctor is probably just going to tell you to go home,self quarantine, and head to the ER if you start to have trouble breathing. If I got sick right now there would be no official statistics on me unless I die suddenly and they test my corpse.

So then it's really just for the purpose of studying the disease and it's spread. It doesn't truly change anything for how the public should be dealing with it which is my overall point.

How do you get that from the argument that people should simply assume the worst and take strong personal measures regardless of official numbers?

There are more stances on dealing with this besides "end of the world panicpanicpanic" and "it's a hoax, there is no virus".
