I like the fact that hundreds of people work at the White House so it probably is true that one of those hundreds of people called the virus the "kung flu", but the journos can't do anything about it because in their typical incompetence they never tried getting the person's name. They assume the group they're accusing (the white house in this case) should be bending over backwards to appease them for having been offended over a joke and are baffled when they're blown off.

Same here, Wuhan Flu or Wuhan Virus. "China Virus" is too broad, there's too much shit coming over from China, and I suspect we're going to have some future Chinese viruses that will earn the name and infamy more than this one.

But either way, as long as Trump is poking the right people in the eye, I'm not going to ding him on style semantics.

The $1000 promise and the Obamaphones are basically the human equivalents of Pavlov's experiments on dogs - if the subjects wanted the gibs they'd go solely for the gibs, but when they're all out they just play dead.
