It is so weird seeing all these closed restaurants.

My cousin was sent home from work because he had cold-like symptoms. He went to the ER and now he is self quarantined. Now I feel bad for going to the store even though I had to since I also had to go to the ER. And that trip to the store made me start coughing again. They said it was a respiratory virus. I am probably ok.

At the bus stop there was a homeless woman on the bench who was puking and coughing just feet from me. What are cities going to do about the homeless? Most of them are in pretty bad shape to begin with. They hang out in front of the stores asking for change and coughing. It just seems like they are a huge virus vector. I do feel bad for them. But in some areas you cannot avoid them and so mny of them are coughing and puking now. Maybe it's just paranoia. But even if they have the flu, right now I am even more afraid to be near them than ever.

Joining the US club, I see. Yeah, I sperged out and emailed UofT's MScAC admissions and they said they did it too.

I have a friend that works at a nuke plant. Anybody that can do their job from a pc has been told to work from home for the duration. For everyone else, 50% of the staff is working, eating, and sleeping at the plant. The other 50% are on paid leave and have been instructed to keep exposure to a minimum. The plan is to rotate people out after they can test everyone.

This shit will take a lot of hobos of the street. Some will be dead, the rest will go squat in homes owned by some dead boomer and spare people.

They might get violent if they're finding it hard to get Thunderbird and heroin though.
