Is it just me though or is he doing this more and more?

I only watched 30 minutes or so today but he ignored several cheers and direct messages from trolls and non trolls alike, just because lol.

The little voice in Phil's head is the one you see him acting on all the time that tells him he is 'The REALEST motherfucker on the internet' who isn't afraid to call out 'the bullshit' and everyone else is just a 'pussyass fanboy shill too afraid to go against the herd so they jusy bend over and take it in the ass'.

For some interesting reading on this look up 'The Narcissistic Personality Split'. The long and short is that there is a False Self which is the narcissistic front you see portrayed and a True Self that is afraid and easily hurt that the False Self is protecting, but over time the True Self becomes extremely diminished to the point you wouldn't even know it's there and the False Self just runs everything on autopilot.

Depends on his mood. Tonight he was happy because he got $112, so he didn't give a shit about the troll messages. By the same token, the people that are gifting him "troll" subs and doing "troll" cheers and tips are still dumb as shit. He either ignores it completely or insults the person. The people who get him to rage are the ones smart enough to make an innocent comment/ask an innocent question that get him rolling on a topic, and they can usually do it without giving him money.

Lol yeah. Another thing I have noticed is that the more loyal or regular of a contributer you are, the worse he will treat you and value your message.

Like pwdubz, tips 5 times a stream, yet Phil lets out a big sigh every time he's forced to read out his messages, even though he doesn't even troll tip lmao.

So ungrateful.

I mean honestly, that's the biggest indicator that he's a narcissist. The fact that there's no "simple reason" for why peepul dislike him it's all some big conspiracy

It's almost a sure thing he watches ChristopherOdd playthroughs with Khet, from his commentary in the recent past. So that's what he's comparing himself to. But that dude must be a shill, since he has an early copy of Doom Eternal. His streams must be worse, since he doesn't use a face cam.

Anyways, Phil can't even tolerate watching his own gameplay during retrospectives. That says it all.

The perfect chat for Phil is one that only talks when they give Phil instructions or inflates his ego, and those messages each come with money attached to it. Anything else Phil hates, even innocent messages. So maybe both?

How hard is it to check up a old playthrough Phil have done and claim you been a fan since? Give Phil some money and he will happily belive that you are!

You could probably get away with just naming any game that was a "major release" in the past however many years and claim that was where you began watching. He's shat out so much kahntent I doubt he remembers a lot of it.

By the time he gets there, he'll have read a guide. Doesn't mean he will execute it properly, but it'll be clear if he does certain things that don't match his normal style.
