Chapters used to publish peoples books in small product runs for $1000 or so at just one store so you wouldn't have to distribute the book yourself. I think they stopped doing that because it wasn't cost effective as then you have a book that wont sell taking up space on the shelf. Amazon is pretty easy to set up kindle versions of self published books but again, those rarely sell. What you need is a publisher no matter who they are to buy the rights to publish your book and have them do the rest of the work. From editing it to getting cover art done.

If it becomes popular enough, they will even spend the money to advertise it and any sequels you make. At that point you may get deals from producers to "make a movie" out of your book, but that's really just a bidding war to make sure other production studios can't buy the rights and sit on the IP. Chances are good it'll never see a movie these days.

That's not what sexual repression is at all. Sexual repression is the denial of urges or preferences, usually feeling guilt of shame for their own desires. Admitting one's desires and managing them with self stimulation is the opposite of repression.
