I don't care either way about the pictures themselves. I'm mainly amused that she chose to shame other people who put up their nudes, only to do the same a few years later. I don't think this change represents personal growth or greater maturity. If I saw even a hint of enjoyment or humor in her photo shoots, I might feel differently, but to me it seems obvious that she simply has given up and hates what she does for money.

She complained in a instagram story recently about getting in a fight with them. She does this everyone once in a while. They're around and at least recently don't approve of what she's doing. IIRC she posted about buying them a car or paying their bills or something years ago.

OK so, because I don't follow Mary MooCow very often, I didn't know she was a muslim until today. I thought the "islamic" thing in the title was just a reference to the site's joke about islamic content.
What fucking faction of Islam allows this? I get that there a lot of factions where parts of the quran are outright ignored women are allowed to wear anything from veils that only conceal the face to actual full, normal clothing.

I doubt she's actually a muslim and if she is, she's far from devout. Her dad is Lebanese. I don't think we know whether or not she was brought up in Islam. As far as whether or not what she does would be approved of, the Hadiths and the Sunna are core works of Islam alongside the Quran. Islam is not so simple as the other Abrahamic religions where you read one book and then decide what beliefs you want to take from it. The Quran is the word of Allah stw and the Hadiths are the records of Muhammed's words and deeds pbuh. The Sunna are the customs and traditions as set down by the Prophet pbuh. "It doesn't say to do this in the Quran" is ignorant westerner talk.

Mariah puts on the mantle of Muslim every once in a while if it is convenient for her. By accepting her faith and then rejecting it I suspect she is a murtadd, but I am no religious scholar.
