Not really interested in the Rekt Planet one then, especially given the preview paneling reminds me way too much of the space filler panels from the first book, which was an issue for me. At the very least they weren't pitch black ones, but still.

Kinda like how I have NO interest in Zack's very tonedeaf and oh so easily dated plague cash in story that relies heavily on him writing in response to the Wuhan Flu.

Black and White was also pretty fun and I hope they don't delay as hard.

I actually just finished reading Black and White just now. It wasn't too bad, the handguns looked a bit chunky but other than that I can't really criticize it too much. It was enjoyable.

I skimmed over it quickly and it looked pretty decent, haven't given it a proper read through yet. Everybodies favorite Hispanic twitter sperg JDA did a review of it.

REIGNBOW BRUTE is launching this November. I took a vote after BLOODHONEY shipped to see what people wanted me to do immediately afterwards, and everyone wanted the CYBERFROG sequel first. So I'll do REIGNBOW BRUTE on IndieGoGo this Fall, for a May or June 2021 release, and then it's back to CYBERFROG 3: RED EXTERMINATION.

I considered making a bid on RAINBOW BRITE and doing the book as legit canon, using those characters. But DYNAMITE got there first and snagged the rights.

So apparently either the writer or the original writer for Red Rooster didn't even get a copy of the pdf that was just released (there's a tweet of that somewhere and there's also this comment on a video I stumbled upon) :

" I appreciate the review, you guys! I was not sent a copy of the digital Red Rooster #1 issue, so I did not have any way of seeing how my script was adapted or altered. A copy was shared with me by a backer today, though, and I was able to read it. I was only credited for "script" and not given a story credit. I actually helped developed most of the story in this issue. My script, however, and to my surprised, was significantly rewritten without my knowledge or input. I do not know by who. It’s been very apparent that he has no interest in the project, and no concern for the money he was given or the people who gave it to him. At this point I feel like he could be reported for fraud considering his own updates on the campaign outright say he isn’t working on the book.

It make me think that OG comicsgate made a strategic error in thinking they could change the industry by directly targeting it. YaBoi makes a good point when he said that if comics were returnable this shit would sort itself out in 3 months, because none of these so-jus comics would make it past issue 2 if that was the case. So OG comicsgate time would have been better spent courting and organizing the retailers to force the issue of returns.

I wouldn't have mattered. Most stores are complicit. They didn't speak up when Richard was being blocked. They led the charge to cancel OSC. They only stood up to All new all different when it literally brought most of them to the brink. The biggest shops would have all stayed in line. Only a few would have crossed.

So cash grab was the spite campaign all along, i wonder if this is on the lines of copyright infringement or defamation, like it's very on the nose and the worm looks exactly like Tenaple. It's sad that evs and CG can't let Doug go, every stream is a big therapy session of "Doug man bad" and his streams can only get 1.2k viewers. To paraphrase something EVS was saying yesterday, it's because the writers' lives are lived on the internet and they're drawing from themselves and their incredibly myopic worldview when creating these characters. The days when most writers were war veterans or had all sorts of weird life experience has passed.
