Here in Argentina the the entire country is in quarintine for two weeks except for essential industries and services,we only have about 80 infected but its nice to see the goverment take action before things go to shit(altough in my opinion it should have acted sooner,the goverment only put people coming to the country on quarintine when we had cases,they should have done it before it happened because it spread).

Also the goverment is lying about the numbers,for example a doctor that deals with patients with respiratory diseases got Corona virus and she was never in contact with someone who was diagnosed with it and never traveled outside the country,so the virus is among the population,and im reading on social media that they are not testing people that cloud be infected so the numbers dont increase. You have to understand that our goverment once said that Argentina had less poor people that Germany so they are used to lying about numbers,I think there must be much more infected its just that they are not tested,a lot of countries are doing that.

People here dont take it seriously,they think its nothing because they are dumb as shit. My mom boyfriend for example told me to not waste my savings buying things(I bought masks and food). I also started to wear a mask to go to work as soon as I got one and people jokingly started coughing and looking at me weird(im sorry for not wanting to die on a global pandemic,also people stare at me in the street when they see me wearing a N95),the low IQ niggers I work with dont even cover their mouth when they cough and if they do they do it with their hand instead of the inside of their arm,also I always had to leave the door open because the low IQ aboriginals I work with close the door everytime they go out(so there is no air flow) and I had to turn on the air conditioners so there is air flow and we are not stuck breathing the same air that cloud carry the virus.

A week ago I went to the owner of my company office because I told him I wanted to talk to him,I explained to him how serious this was(this was before the general quarentine) and I asked him if I cloud work from home since I cloud do everything though Gmail and he said that he is taking the situation seriously but that he was going to wait to see what the goverment does(basically "unless im forced too im not going to let people from home,good luck hope you dont get infected I need my shekels").

People are so stupid,they act as normal without any care in the world,when the president gave people time off work dozens of thousands of people went to the beach on vacation... ,honestly you can think this pandemic is a tragedy but I dont feel too bad about it...I mean...the average person is a dumb mong that think this is just the flu and that we should live life as normal and that preparing for hard times is silly,since so many people are like that I cant bring myself to care about them. For example my brother and my mom who are two leftists,SJW tards said yesterday "everyone will get it eventually", well since thats the case go to a hospital and ask for an infected to cough on your face since it doesnt matter,I shouldnt waste my masks on them. People are so dumb.

Cuomo had to step in and gave him 24 hours to close the parks. Cuomo has to step in and do everything, he's the one that forced the clown's hand and made him close the schools, Leaving the schools open when it was clear it was spreading though them ensured the spread of coronavirus. de Blasio should be removed and indicted for gross dereliction of duty. Call me optimistic but stranger things have happened already.

Well from a video i posted earlier, i do think that there is a lot of educational difference between south koreans and US citizen that just, didn't give a fuck about what is happening out there in China and europe, just signing it off as another H1N1 or nothing burger, when anyone with a half funcitonning brain paying attention, like the South Korean population that is allways frightened by a possible nuclear strike coming from their nice friends in the north, there are key differences in , you could say, paranoia probably and cultural differences in social distancing already in graved in the culture + more discipline dripping from the way their totalitarian government have a tighter grip on them, then you probably have more rational or educated people that might obey with minimal questions asked to their government, in some cases yes, i can see it being a bad thing for overreach, and in other situations like this when SHTF for good, they have people that end up very obedient and signal officials very fast if they witness a possible cluster in their own community, this is a little bit dystopian but... problem is, usa and europe have very "dissipated" / undisciplined people, all the time, that don't give a fuck, education system has gone down the toilet and parents have given up on good parenting, the succeeding governments of inept presidents led us to have an almost complete distrust / fourth turning on our government officials you know, it happenned gradually and it's both the fault of bad parenting / generations of desilusions from presidents and officials desecrating the vision of presidents and officials to the eyes of the general public, from all the corruption and mistakes that transpired, the two party system (left right) that almost never delivers on promises one after the other, betray their people and so on, i don't say this specifically for Trump or even Macron, it happened through these last 2 generations, in a span of 30 years we had to witness how our paradigm leaves us a sour taste of fakery and pushing agenda / wars and subsidising of foreign countries that we clearly never wanted nor elected these people for this.

It's a huge western problem, governments allways crying wolf for nothing, getting busy with the most stupid of social issues or transgender / bullshit issues and never providing real solutions to real problems people have, then you get generations of people that just can't trust anything you say, even when the real shit hits the fan and you should be concerned, us in europe, / the west, brought this sanitary crisis almost on ourselves for how our governing bodies have betrayed us one too many times i fear. There's a need for a real change... Or it's bound to happen again.

I wasn't given any kind of timeline. Boss basically just said keep an eye out for communications but we don't know if or when I will be rehired. I have enough savings to last me a few months so I should be OK. Probably.

It’s unlikely this will cause real inflation, as the amount of wealth being destroyed is much larger. An inflationary response to this in general would be a good thing; if you print 4 trillion dollars and those all go to the wealthiest people who hoard that wealth and *never* spend it, then you have increased inequality, but you have not actually changed the economy.

Of course, what is actually happening is leveraged debt is getting margin called, money is literally disappearing as withdrawing your “real” money from your brokerage removes a multiple of that amount from margin lending. The government is certainly irresponsible, but not because they’re printing their way out of a sovereign liquidity crisis; rather that they allow highly leveraged instruments to exist at all, and that hedge fund managers can go bankrupt after funneling millions of dollars offshore.

Welp, I now have a low grade fever, chest pains and full body aches in all my joints. My cough and sniffles have stopped though. Pretty sure its Influenza-chan and not Corona-chan. I am vaccinated for flu buts its imperfect which may explain the mild symptoms. No cough or sore throat. Jesus, I never thought I would be praying for Flu.
