Has a game dev ever responded to DSP's calling them amateurs or calling their game shit because he didn't one-shot every single section/mechanic?

Hideki Kamiya mocked him in a tweet (that's what the guy does on twitter so it's not that special but hey) when someone linked him to DSP going through Devil May Cry 3(?) and whining about the game being "fuckingboolshitdood".

Any Nioh 2ers here that can get me some inside meta cheese shit and if Phil's insistence on using the switch weapon is because it's a bit broken or anything? I only tune in for a bit here and there just to check it out.

Is blocking in the middle of getting a 3-4 attack string still best option than just trying to spam dodge/roll out of it like Nioh 1?

It does pretty nice damage and feels to me like if he wasn't going to slothspear his way through another Nioh until the inevitable ragequit then this would be the obvious alternative weapon he'd choose. Whether or not you believe it's because it's big and resembles one half of a T-Pose in high stance is up to you but in my house we're laughing at the idea of it. It's just a tick below the full bore power of the axe while not feeling as sluggish. We've deduced he always chooses heavy fighting game characters/heavy duty weapons in the mahdern era as a pre-loaded excuse as to why he's losing in his own head - I'm big and slow and they're faster than me so there's nothing I can dooo.

As for new defensive options I would recommend choosing a feral guardian spirit (I started with the wolf/brute and switched to the monkey when you acquire it early on) and you'll find its burst counter dash gets you out of alot of mid-combo bullshit and you can basically cancel out of any attack you throw out with it as well. It requires more precise timing than brute burst cancels which just activate right away but all round feels like has more genuine application outside the mechanic it was designed for.

I figured he'd be playing on Hurt Me Plenty. Game is piss-easy on that level.
Seeing him play this on a pad is really hard to watch because the game has more mobility options and tools for combat that I cannot see him ever taking advantage of because of such a handicap. So in a way, it's probably hard difficulty for Phil given his bullshit claim of doing lan parties of Quake back in the day and his slow ass reflexes.

I've watched a few people playing on PC (and playing on Nightmare, the hardest difficulty available at the start), and the mobility is absolutely incredible. They're flying around the arenas grappling shit and double-jumping, switching weapons and chainsawing shit. Phil's creeping around, face-tanking hits at 10 damage a pop, and making it supremely boring.

It's a clusterfuck in a mostly good way. There's so many things to do, including using the chainsaw, grenade, flamethrower, the punch, and even more shit. It's obviously way too much for someone like Phil who just won't get it, let alone weapon switching.

There was a time he tweeted about one of his videos getting demonetized for the music and he went on to tweet about idiots at the company one of those idiots that did the music work called him out saying that's just the nature of the beast deal with it and Pigroach tried to screenplay around his original message with a "yeah that's what I'm talking about those morons (totally not you but totally you in my original tweet)".

I could have sworn Kojima once made a single tweet making fun of a video of DSP that was posted to him, but maybe it was a fake meme or a sweet fever dream...

Someone cheers to dave saying they don't like his content. Dave takes the bait and proceeds to derail himself by saying that person is being negative and HOW they're being negative. Followed by him saying the ever-so delusional "fact" that alottapeepul LOVE him and his content and ALWAYS tell him he's such a good person every day. Gotta love it.

I agree wholeheartedly. I am on PS4 switching weapons - bouncing around - grenading, chain sawing, the whole nine yards ! Even if I die I'm having a fucking blast ! This is something Phil could never truly enjoy. Also - anyone see how Phil turned away when the robot women appeared LMFAO.

Phil really wants to see how far he can push the "Confused Old Man" gimmick. I mean, he's "only" 37, but he looks like he's 65, and his voice sounds like an 80-year-old grandma's, so I think he can pull it off.
I mean sure, you have to throw aside all of your dignity and all of the passion you feel for your job, but it works.
$101 in tips. The vest is on.
Honestly, Phil could slap a price tag on anything and his chat would still eat it up
That's just how Twitch is I guess

This vest thing might be the most pathetic thing he's done in a while. Literal proof that he will continue to do anything for money if it's low effort. Side note--the tips were provided almost entirely by the same person, who usually does vergota69. They tipped at least $50 using at least 4 different variations of ver___69.

"Vergota" = big cock, FYI, so we're dealing with yet another of Phil's very mature fans.

100 dollars for this??????????????

Who the fuck give money to see a Pig wearing some kinda cockroach exoskeleton costume?
