Phil just confirmed that he's gonna order food multiple times this week since all restaurants are closed

$500k in debt

Edit: Mentioning 26th gets you banned.
Why what ever for? I thought his meeting was put on hiatus because of the beer flu? His schedule hasn't changed for Thursday or anything so what difference does it make to him?

"Doom was a cover shooter" Is hilarious to me given cover mechanics weren't even developed at the time. Didn't this guy just play DOOM and DOOM 2? Where was the cover DSP?

Next up he'll tell everyone how Quake was a cover shooter.

From the little I saw, DSP just played the old DOOMs like they were Metal Gear Solid stealth missions.

I can't stomach watching the pigroach anymore, but I have to know... does the little baby difficulty he's playing Doom on offer the sentinel armor if you fail boss fights? And did that fucking pussy turn it on?

Yeah it does. If you fail enough it offers it and won't hurt the progress of the game, but I still don't accept. I feel this is giving tons of fucking hand outs with the extra lives and shit. Still fun regardless, but you and I know Phil makes anything boring.

So help me god, Phil just said that Doom used to be a cover shooter while complaining that he had no cover to hide from the enemies in Doom Eternal. He's not targeting the flashing weakpoints that this game introduced and is getting his shit pushed in. This is incredible.
He always does this. Whenever he's playing the latest installment of an established franchise he always strokes his dick about how the "old games were so much better!"
And then you actually watch his playthrough of the older game, in this case Doom 2, and you see him failing at that as well. Save-stating and dying hundreds of times.

Or DK64 which he replayed recently, he constantly trashed on it for "being bad" (just because he was bad)

And Doom as a cover shooter?

The only "cover" you'd take there is hiding behind corners in narrow hallways when you're reloading your shotgun and you're dealing with hitscan enemies, outside of that, it's mostly based around dodging and prioritizing who to take out first.

Seeing this... empty shell of a man bumbling through "chill and interactive" games like Minecraft and Morrowind by getting guided through them by exceptional individuals and then seeing him go into instant pissy man child mode once a game offers even the slightest amount of challenge is something I still can't get used to after all this time.

Translation: I like games where I can stall and run the clock out so I can go back to my mobile games.

These games were I constantly have to DO things are too much effort.
Translation #2: I like games where I progress to different areas because it gives me a better sense of getting closer to the credits reel
It's especially better when there's more cutscenes so I can stall out the clock a little longer
