Doug does a fairly good job keeping away from social media drama. There have been some weird gaffes on his Facebook page (I distinctly remember him posting a picture of Johnny Depp's Willy Wonka the day Gene Wilder died with the caption, "Don't worry Wonka fans! I'm still here!" Which was in remarkably bad taste) but those are few and far between.Does Doug have any notable autistic behaviour outside of his reviews? At least from the Metokur retrospective it seems Doug is just a mostly mediocre-minus content creator with bad choice of co-workers.

I mean, there was the video of him being so overly dramatic that he wrote on his chest "I quit" and then flashed it to his co-workers in the lunch room to music.
I wonder if Doug (and any other reviewers) were smart enough to actually stock up on money during the golden age rather than spend it all on worthless shit, if he still has the studio then he is probably the former. That video becomes more interesting the more time goes on because it was him quitting his day job to do Nostalgia Critic full-time. Just about everyone who was ever a part of TGWTG was ensorcelled by this idea that they'd be the new digital media superstars and Doug in particular wanted to be the figurehead of a disruptive new media empire.
Now all these years later CA is basically a shell of a company and Doug, while not starving, is pretty much stuck being Nostalgia Critic for the rest of his career unless a miracle happens. Makes me wonder who got the better of who in the end: Him or the wagies.
That’s not much different than the shitposting on this site.I distinctly remember him posting a picture of Johnny Depp's Willy Wonka the day Gene Wilder died with the caption, "Don't worry Wonka fans! I'm still here!" Which was in remarkably bad taste)
Doug's pretty questionable given that he had to run an IndieGoGo campaign just to keep the studio, and even then he barely had enough for the other projects which is why the game show died a miserable death. Of course he still has the studio so I'd say he's at least smart enough to keep things running.I wonder if Doug (and any other reviewers) were smart enough to actually stock up on money during the golden age rather than spend it all on worthless shit, if he still has the studio then he is probably the former.
I mean yeah, but you have to remember the kind of people who watch Doug's stuff and Doug's normal sense of humor. That’s not much different than the shitposting on this site.
In regards to Channel Awesome and it’s position on “muh culture war,” Lindsay Ellis has stated that she left CA because she felt the Walkers and Michaud didn’t do enough to protect contributors during Gamer Gate nor were they comfortable hosting Gamer Gate related content. Given that CA was only hosting their material (none of them were under contract), I don’t see why they should feel the need to protect these people nor do I understand WHAT they could have done apart from telling them to stay off the Internet. As I’ve said before, ignoring Gamer Gate is one of the few smart things that CA has done. They are a comedy website making jokes (being charitable here) at the expense of silly movies. They don’t want to lecture their viewers about why they are wrong for liking things or why they’re liking the right things but in the wrong way.Does Doug have any notable autistic behaviour outside of his reviews? He's even lost some weight. Good for Bennett.Bennett's fiancée made a cameo, though her face is blocked. She doesn't look fat, she might just be normal, but it sounds like she's been an actual fan of his show for years.
He looks happy, though. More than I can say about Linkara and his fangirl hamplanet wife.

He should honestly kill himself. He's even lost some weight. Good for Bennett.
If you let other's success define your happiness you're just setting yourself up to be a miserable loser. Soon robots will rise and kill all of you so everybody should take the time to find happiness in the few precious days you have left - even TGWTG people. He should honestly kill himself.
Those are my robots. They are all set to kill Bennett the Sage.If you let other's success define your happiness you're just setting yourself up to be a miserable loser. Then what doesThose RC cars your parents bought you and you ductaped steak knives onto for your bootleg BattleBots battles behind the shed where the older kids huff paint doesn't count as a robot army.
@jellycar has Y2K here turned you into a robot by any chance?
