They're still trying to dick measure and grandstand in the middle of a fucking pandemic. It shows in the bills being proposed by both parties.
You'd think they'd focus on, ya know, the American people instead of their own interests?
I hate this country sometimes.
This country genuinely sucks. All of these bills are just a shit sandwich. Banks own this country. It is a government for the banks, by the banks. The Banks and Trumps Chosen people.
How about you not speak for those who make that a month, that 1200 covers the money I had to drain from my savings to get ahead on rent and stock up on non-perishables because of this shit show.
PS : Anyone who says the democrats did good can go straight up fuck themselves. If more is needed later than we can pass another fucking bill, how about we help people right the fuck now and see if we need more.
In reference to my earlier post, let me make myself abundantly clear, lest you got my points garbled up in politics.
YOU need the help, NOT me. I would vote against a booster check cut for my family, the Karens and the pensioners, in favor of a more sustainable plan, moving forward, for people like Wal-Mart wage slaves.
My bill would::
▪ obligate Wal-Mart etc. to cover your medical, 100%.
▪ guarantee you six weeks paid leave, no questions asked. No sick leave, just paid time off.
▪ guarantee you a raise schedule. And you would have a tenure that builds up, as your time invested increases, even if you are as dumb as a post. You would be very hard to fire.
▪ guarantee a pension, to supplement SS, down the line.
▪ offer wholesale prices on food, even if paid with EBT, to all employees and retirees from the corporation.
What the Republicans have to offer is a shit sandwich that favors Reagan's chosen people: the Karens and pensioners, while leaving the poor even more destitute. What we really need to do is hold corporations accountable for how they treat their employees. Already the welfare system supplements most minimum wage earning households. That is how Wal-Mart etc. get their "amazingly low prices."
It is a complete scam.
I am not saying that people shouldn't get a handout. But I want it to be fair, and help people who are at risk of dying in the streets in places like New England or Michigan, during this crisis.
