"According to China’s Global Times, all 32 co-passengers that the infected person travelled with by a bus have been tested positive."

According to...

I truely hope it's just fucking fearmongering, or they all ate at the same shitty restaurant, or there were mouse or rat's shit all around the bus or an army of rats pissing on them from a roof then...

Or else this will be very very fucking bad, with a 38 to 40% death rate... We need to take the whole country of China and throw it into the fucking sun ASAP...
fun fact the hanata-virus is named after the hantan river in south Korea.

so i guess were all xenophobic against Koreans now.

The most interesting thing about this mess is how its revealed how little work local state governments actually want to do (and thus be held responsible for). Its almost like they forgot this is a FEDERAL system of government. Blumpf cannot just allocate all his attention to your one corner of the country. Part of the tradeoff for the existence of your cushy elected position that allows you pad your doners and your own bank accounts with State level appropriations is that when shit hits the fan, you are in charge. Not the US president.

The number of governors and mayors shrieking how it's not their fault or responsibility is pretty sickening. It may not necessarily be your "fault", in as much as its nobodies "fault". But it IS your responsibility.

Bunch of peace time officers shitting their pants at the first sound of an artillery shell whooshing overhead

They didn't forget, they just don't care. They hate the rest of us.

So, last night and today my temp hasn’t dropped below 38, I haven‘t smelt a damn thing short of a soiled nappy in several days, am barely awake, and today I have randomly fainted twice.

uh oh kiwi bros

(also please blame my fever for my autistic recent posting, sorry)

Give your husband a long, deep kiss for the rest of us.

I was gonna say wrong country and quote Ze mayor (ah come on, we were friends with ze vatican!) But... yeah gernica was a thing...
Gernica was a small town in spain. Not much is known about what went down but by some kind of astounding bureaucratic fuckup it got marked as abandoned after the civil war. And when the axis made joint exercises with spain they started using the villages that got abandoned after the civil war as target practice for their bombers. Gernica was one such village, difference with the rest being it was still very much so populated, and so without knowing it the German and Italian bombers firebombed the civilian population into nigh anihilation just because some spanish bureaucrat filled the wrong box and no one bothered to check...
Am I being whooshed? I've never heard that Guernica was a bureacratic mistake. Did Picasso paint about a paperwork oopsie?
Deliberate bombing of civilians by fascists is how this is taught in the Anglo world.

A relative in Idaho was so involved with her ailing son she had no conception this was going on until a week ago. I blame her medical people for not telling her her son was comprimised and at least advising her to get masks for his medical visits. Now she's faced with no masks and iffy supply of meds for him. As it stands, I gotta send a couple of the six total 95m's I grabbed at Freddies back when this was fun. This shit is fucksd
tfw, there are still mongoloids on this board, who would use N95 dust mask (without eye protection either most likely) over reusable gas mask - something that works better and is actually cheaper for period longer than 2-3 days. For extra bonus - gas masks are actually obtainable right this moment for people, who failed to prep.

Picture very related. See what kind of masks are worn by the henchman and what's worn by Putin?

Feinting? You get a headache yet? That seems to be a consistent sign from what I've heard

Had my first class via videoconference this morning and was sitting there for a good 45 seconds before I realized that this was clearly visible behind me.

How's your day going?
My first zoom classroom probably featured me taking a swig of courage before giving my presentation. I do hope our zoom overlords give us mercy for initial gaffes.

The fault in your logic is assuming a disease grows stronger the more people have been exposed to it. Everyone who compares this to Plague Inc are mongoloids. The flus are less lethal and contagious because we have a large amount of the population is already immune. Covid 19 is new, there is no immunity, and it seems to be rather contagious (probably because it's often so asymptomatic). A better comparison would be H1N1(off the top of my head, 60 million infected, 250k hospitalized,11k deaths) but even that'll be hard to compare cause we almost completely ignored that. Spanish Flu would possibly be the most apt, but medical technology was so far behind it's probably also irrelevant.
You seem to be seeing things in my post that I wasn't trying to imply. I'm not assuming it grows stronger the more people that are exposed to it, I'm just making a 1 to 1 comparison with flu, and showing that it's already killing more people a day, despite infecting much less people. I've also never played Plague Inc.

Bit odd that it is an oopsie considering they did more strategic bombings during the war.

No bank survives if their foreclosures enter the 15%-20% range.
They don't want the giant headache of real property, they want interest and principle.

Thats true.

My mussesing on real estate

So back in the housing bubble days someone on Somethingawful.com linked to Ben Jones's
http://housingbubble.blog/

Back in 08 Mr jones would just gather up all the new articles for the day relating to real estate. He provided no commentary.

It opened my eyes that everything from big name papers to small town fliers seemed to have 3 main talking points.

1) There is no bubble

2) ITS A GOOD TIME TO BUY

3) Real Estate Always goes up

Then one day I read an artcile and expert said used the term "bubble" in the past tense soon the other articles followed suit in like a matter of days.

We went from a bubble not existing to a bubble HAD existed. For all the talk of media agenda's I viewed that as an eye opener.

There is house for sale that I ve been keeping an eye on. Its owned by an investment group it was on the market last year got taken down for the holidays and put back up. Its been over a year now. They are paying the carry costs on the house because its just a number on a balance sheet. so they will hold it till it sells for the price they want and if they price it to sell it will create a loss. of course they cant sell now, all inspetions and showing of listings are suspended.

I enjoyed the real estate crash of the late 00's and look forward to what comes about from this.

The home depot in my area now has armed sherrif deputy's only allowing 100 people in at a time and it's enforced. My general contractor has been waiting at the store since 6AM when they opened to get in the store for material. Won't pickup any illegal workers but they will shoot/arrest folks trying to buy nails if too many go in at once.

If this is a portent of things to come online ordering is going to sky rocket and you might as well make every building a giant drab gray concrete box as there's no reason to go inside any more. Also, there will be a run on armed security everywhere.

I can't wait for Kroger's to have bouncers with hand clickers at the door.

Dont get me wrong I'm down with deportation. I just feel that focusing on getting rid of illegals at this exact time instead of doing almost anything else is pants on head retarded.

Good on them for making sure the stores dont get swamped like a best buy on black Friday.
