Snowflake Chloe Wilkinson / DissociaDID and Nanette Zuniga / Nan / TeamPinata

Nan has a new alter, Cliff, an alcoholic construction worker who eloquently describes his appearance so Jeremy can draw him in between lamenting about his inability to drink in Nan's body. He spends most of this video talking about how he is very confused and doesn't really understand DID. He already knows words like alter and uses 'we' pronouns. Despite his confusion and struggle to connect with other alters he's more than happy to make a video introducing himself and talks in depths about DID despite being less than a week old and apparently not thrilled to exist.

Highlights include:
3:30 he talks about how he doesn't know the other alters but he says does know "the cat man" without any hint of irony which made my fucking day.
4:30 we get a dramatic close up for "Do not call me Clifford!!1!" which leads one to question why he introduced himself as Clifford in the first place.
4:40 he describes his life as a construction worker before he became a part of the system.
5:40 he describes his appearance and shows off some art of himself.
6:58 he talks about his first memories in Nan's body and explains that he literally exists because he wanted to take care of Chloe and cuck on Nan.

Maybe I'm ignorant but this makes absolutely no fucking sense to me. She's talking like this personality existed before it was somehow put into her body? Is that anyone's experience of DID?
He likes to drink but because the system doesn't drink, he can't drink anymore? He's a construction worker who says "oftentimes"?
I haven't seen a lot of Nan because her baby/Peter Griffin voice annoys the hell out of me, but from what I've seen her alters all have the same mannerisms 🤔

I knew the voice reminded me of something but until you said it I could figure out what. Fuck.

Found this shitstorm on Reddit lol

That was already in the OP.

Oh boy, finally there is thread on these people. Those two have been my personal lolcows for a while now. They were kind of fascinating to watch.

I don't think this was mentioned in a thread, but here is an article about Nan complaining about being kicked out of a barber shop during one of her visits to the UK because the barber realized she was a woman:

Did you know that Nanette is federally disabled and receives a :tugboat: from taxpayes due to her claimed DID? She mentions this in detail in one of her videos. She also may live in subsidized housing. I'm sure she's got other issues going on, but DID I think not. In one of her other videos she slips up and refers to herself in first person or something while being Jeremy.

kind of dumb that the barber kicked her out but then again it really is a first world problem, not ~oppression~

A lot of barbers in the UK are muslim(in my area all of them are), so not only do they not accept women customers, a lot of them don't touch any women that aren't related to them in some way. (I work with a muslim guy that wouldn't shake the hand of our new female boss, so I know that for some its a serious thing.)

From all the reading I've been doing since I came across her, there is, supposedly, a fraction of the "host" that remains after a switch. This is meant to be an anchor to the real world, if that makes sense?

However, the majority of these idiots on YT that post about DID are fucking lousy actors and can't even fake their alters effectively. Yet, for some odd reason, your average YouTuber laps it up like a fucking hungry cat in a dairy.

At around 5:06

Burning, right. Well she talks a lot about having scars she can't get rid of. Where? I've never seen any scars on this girl and she wears some fairly revealing outfits. If she'd been burned we would be able to see that. Those kind of scars are some gnarly shit. I don't buy it.

It was in the OP but I think I need to develop Nan's section now I've got some more information on her. I'm not surprised she's on disability but as for the subsidised housing I'm not sure. She seems to be in contact with a few Zuniga's on social media and I think she's supported somewhat by her family despite her claims. She was made homeless for a while but that seems to be because her housemates couldn't deal with her munchie sperg outs and attempts to fuck a teenager.

Chloe was the host for a long time and she was the 'original' personality. I know she says you can't have an original personality, she uses the broken glass analogy a lot, when the glass shatters which piece is the original piece, but that doesn't work for DID. DID is literally one personality that has fragmented and those fragments are part of that original personality. Putting the 'glass' back together is the point of therapy and all of those pieces are Chloe in different states. Chloe is the original. Chloe was born. Chloe suffered trauma. Chloe fragmented. Chloe would be pieced back together through therapy if she actually went.
Whether Chloe actually had trauma and fragmented we can't say but I doubt it. Hypothetically, if she did, Chloe would be the original host and the anchor to the real world as you describe it.

But Chloe is gone and Nin is in her place. Which is fucking bizarre because Nin is a mixture of Chloe the host and Nina the sexual protector and trauma holder. So if alters are supposed to protect the host from trauma why does Chloe the original now have her sexual trauma memories? Why is she now responsible for protecting herself as she took on her sexual protector? This wasn't a healing integration through therapy this was through more trauma which isn't how integration works. The levels of autism are staggering.

Usually people who use dissociation as a maladapted coping mechanism also have depersonalization as well. Depersonalization can make someone percieve that they are watching their life like a movie so that can explain the "put in her body" perception.

Though in her case its LARPing for the click bait views...

Nanette makes me extremely uncomfortable for some reason...
It's the face? The voice she fakes? Her artstyle that screams fetish artist? The self harm scars? Nothing wrong with self harming, but if you arm is made up of scar tissue man, you have bigger problems that one of your alters being locked in a imaginary basement.
Maybe her "littles"? I try to be very open minded, in fact she's not hurting me in some way, but seeing a 30 year old woman acting like a literal child with a lot of giggling doesn't get me.
In fact, both of their "littles" make me have a strange feeling.

Nanette as a little looks like some kind of DDLG fetish, playing with toys, acting stereotipically. They say they're 4 but theytalk like they're 2. Development in children is drastic and change from year to year.
Chloe as a child, from what I've seen from Anthony's video, is too "clever". If you want to protect your little, why teaching them about DID? Why making them aware that they're "a part" of something? Why making them suffer? Why allowing them to being on video? Why making them TALK about stuff that makes them cry? If they're literal child, how do they understand DID? "It's raw, educational" It would be raw and educational even if Chloe said that herself. How convenient, for the little to come out for Anthony and not the "balding asian man" or one of the boys, or Sally or Nina!

This is what I find incredibly frustrating about all of her content on whatever platform. There are so many contradictions to what we (or should I say true experts) know of this condition that, really, all the evidence screams of fakery.

I have a feeling certainty that Nin is an excuse for her to sexualise herself for personal gain, using Nin as the "oh well that's her not Chloe"
excuse in the same way people like Momokun blamed ADHD for their persistent sexualised behaviour.

The thing that got me, as you’ve hinted above, is that a little “came” out. There are twenty-odd videos of her specifically saying why they give you no information on the Littles. One of the alters has a whole video about how they hate this channel and the Littles can suffer just by someone knowing their name.

so why did a little come out in this very weird and unsafe setting? Instead of literally anyone else. She had 20-some alters. At least half are full adults. For someone who claims the Littles need to be protected, she was all to willing to throw them to the show for views.

I have to admit, my knowledge of DID comes entirely from reading Sibyl, Switching Minds, and The Minds of Billy Milligan, but those cases all have so much more in common with each other than they have with either of these two idiots that it's nuts. The most glaringly obvious difference is that in each of those cases, the "main" personality was unaware of the other personalities and couldn't communicate with them, even though the other personalities were aware of each other. It's been ages since I've read Sibyl, but I seem to recall both Milligan and Overhill couldn't really interact with their other personalities even after they were diagnosed.

Chloe and Nan are just two of the many adult chuunibyou on the internet who try to pass off their ability to write fiction and roleplay as some kind of unique, special ability.

I just read a book that was recommended earlier in the thread, Today I'm Alice by Alice Jamieson. In this book the author Alice is aware of voices talking to her, she starts hearing them as a teenager and she's later diagnosed with schizophrenia (partly) because of the auditory hallucinations. She can't really interact with them, but she has some awareness of their feelings and intentions. It's a very intense book, if you like Sybil I think you'd be interested in it.

What I can't get over is the revolting fetishization of a debilitating mental illness. The people who suffer with this disorder are debilitated by trauma and the resulting inability to function like "normal" people. Whether the diagnosis is a valid one or not, these poor people who have been diagnosed are some of the most horrendously tortured individuals with massive traumas. And these morons glamorize it and make it a fun soap opera! Tune in next time to see a new alter get kinapped and tortured in the basement of Nan's brain!

I guess it's simple really, if it pays, it's OK to play. To whiny little post-emo morons like Chloe there are no issues with morality. If it gets clicks then it's fair game.

She has pics of her literally in a bikini in which there are no visible scars, neither burn marks, or anything of the sorts.
There's also this one video (where she shows her journal) where people in the comments have pointed out many many times that names of her "littles" can be seen through the page, yet she didn't edit it out. Hmm...

Also how likely is it that she just has schizophrenia instead?

Nothing wrong with self harming

Are you sure?

It's been ages since I've read Sibyl, but I seem to recall both Milligan and Overhill couldn't really interact with their other personalities even after they were diagnosed.

The real woman behind Sybil went on to admit the whole thing was bullshit. Her therapist lead her into it and years later another therapist evaluated her and realised there was nothing wrong with her. So, in a lot of ways Chloe and Sybil have a lot in common.

Yeah I thought I'd seen pictures like that. You can't really hide burns. Smaller scars, sure, I guess they might not show up on overexposed pictures but burns are hard to disguise.

Doubt she has schizophrenia personally. I think it's more likely to be a personality disorder. She doesn't seem much like a schizo to me. She looks like she'd smell like shit and she needs to fix her dentistry but she puts too much effort into the rest of her appearance to be schizo. When a schizophrenic is deep into an episode they usually let hygiene go. She's too bright eyed and engaged, she doesn't have any disorganisation in her speech, she doesn't have the flatness or lack of expression, and she's far too social to be schizophrenic.
