you can tell whatever this spreadsheet is, phil made it

MONTH PROFIT/INCOME GROSS GIN

it gets weird with sole proprietorships, they aren't under any legal obligation to have a seperate business account

There's no legal obligation but it makes your book keeping hellish and expensive because now either you or a book keeper have to record every transaction in your account. A second account costs a few bucks a month and banks will usually let you make sub accounts. Literally just something to sort one kind of money from another. If you run any kind of business without its own account you're either naive or exceptional.

Jesus Christ whats worse than his fucking pig voice is all the dead air because the confused boomers calling him have no idea what he is talking about. I almost shot myself in the foot after that women early on was asking him about all the gaming systems he supposedly owned, she went pronouncing all of them like they where some ancient language she could barely read.

That listing was interesting because no where in any of DSP's bankruptcy filings does he ever list out all of his game systems.

A troll/autist/"well meaning citizen" had to have emailed her that list.

I wonder if DSP would have some legal interference issue? I'm sure not or the trustee wouldn't have gone into it in the first place.

Edit: Maybe it's in a document that's not publicly available, like his one month of Paypal and bank account transactions? That would seem odd though.

Nancy: "I'm looking at the PayPal account that you have sent me, one has Twitch Interactive Inc, sends you a check, then it looks like that same amount goes out, there's instant withdraw to debit card. How does that work?"

It looks like she's already caught on to these shenanigans. He's moving money from his PayPal to a debit card, and not just some of it, the entire amount. I'm sure she's going to want to see those debit card transactions, too. It seems from the testimony that most of the expenses are not paid out of this PayPal account.

Nancy: "You've provided me a copy of your PayPal account for one month, I would like to see the last six months of both of your Paypal statements. "

So Phil has two PayPal accounts, and only one of them Nancy has seen. What interesting goodies will she find in the other one, and looking back at the last six months? I wonder if the other PayPal account has all his tips in it, and she hasn't seen just how much money Phil actually makes.

She asked for the last 6 months of PayPal transactions during the call so he has to provide them which means he'll be getting caught in a lie soon lol

I saw on the front page that some troll bought DSP's debt. Do we have a name or documents to go with it?

For the artistically / autistically minded among us: can someone please, please convert the hearing transcript into a Phoenix Wright case? I can just imagine Phil (wearing his Sonic hat, of course) sweating profusely as Phoenix grills him to his triumphant coup de grace turnabout music.
Might as well recreate the whole meeting using Phoenix Wright assets.
I want the CitiBank boi to be the radio transmitter that was used for Shelly De Killer. It would be perfect.

While I would give this a 9/10 on the disaster scale because Phil didn't totally lose control, but it sounds worse when you know he lied about his income. Then you just hear each lie that he is throwing out there and know he's digging his own grave. The real key, though, is that Nancy was looking for him to lie from the start. She clearly knew something was up. Phil's numbers will be called into question from now on, which is the LAST thing he wants on any level. And @nohandsboi did a nice job bringing up the business expenses but that is where more obvious lies are taking place. And now they're going to check out his PayPal. I don't see how it could have gone better for the Phil fail train.

Phil's fucked because streamlabs shows as a deposit the same way paypal/youtube/etc do. She already knows teespring pays him, even.

She's gonna check how much each of these places pays him per month and then look at her notes from what he said and see they dont match.

Its wild Phil can't even play the idiot correctly to get some leniency.

Also his lawyer getting shut down was crazy. Nobody else had their lawyer speak up during their meeting besides to verify them. Rochelle sure wasn't supposed to be answering questions for Phil.

When she sees all things added together it should set off alarm bells in her head. Phil tried to hide tips but as she wants paypal information he can't hide it unless he wants to start deleting records and stuff.

Phil is a guy who for $100 will do nothing but put on a fucking vest. I don't think he's going to try to pull off something like cooking his books to hide income and expenses. That's way more effort than he can muster.

But I hope he tries to do this. I really do. Because if he does, he'll get caught (because he'll fuck it up as this requires actual accounting skill) and that will be the end of it for him. He may even face real, criminal charges, because that is most certainly a willful, blatant attempt to hide assets/income.

Yep. She knows he's getting deposits from Streamlabs because she was obviously looking at his bank deposits when bringing this up. Phil blatantly lied. Nancy didn't say anything, but I'm sure she made a note of his lie.

So this guy bought part of his debt and will be trying to collect on that or what? Blackmail?
