That's kind of funny considering all the major US outbreaks are in dense, strictly progressive areas, and all the hillibillies in middle America are going about their daily lives with little to no signs of infection. As much as they want this to be the biological impeachment of republicans across the country, it's much more likely that the vast majority of deaths will fall on the left side of the aisle.

I think it's amazing to see how people calling out Trump's "it's a hoax" comments from way back without the slightest of self awareness that the majority of the US (specially the left) were burying their heads until they couldn't ignore the virus anymore. Not saying the Trump's actions can not be criticized but god damn that they are trying to shift the blame as far as they can from their politics and open borders philosophies.
I still think that you can get news and other data from that thread, but for real, some guys there are power leveling way too hard.

For context on how incredibly terrible a mayor LaToya is:
- After getting elected was investigated for using a government issued credit card to buy groceries for herself during her time on the City Council.
- Has had a lien placed on her six figure house by the IRS for not paying taxes for several years.
- Decided to cancel every major event she could to stop kung flu except for her own masked ball.
- And still has done nothing about the two dead bodies in the Hard Rock Hotel.
This is just stuff I can remember off the top of my head. I am unironically wishing we had Ray Nagin (Mayor during Katrina) back in charge.

I now have a favorite new phrase to insert when appropriate into my writing, thank you.
Though it's fun to see how quiet everyone is about how they really really expected , for some reason, that densely-packed urban areas with shitty (literally) public health conditions would be skipped right over by this scourge and it it would directly kill old, white, farmers.
