This dude thinks about Trump way too often. If he didn’t have Trump to obsess over, he’d be more irrelevant than he already is.

...Huh. Apparently that happened exactly one year ago, today. The Democrats managed to keep that part inside of the bill that went through the Senate, but with those two on the board it doesn't really matter, since Trump has two of his largest bystanders keeping an eye on where the money goes. That's fucking impressive.

Rip Steven Universe
(theres no way that #25theAmendmentNow "trend" could have nearly the same tweets as that Steven Universe "trend")
I might seem like a retard, but what is the #25thAmendmentNow tag even for? If it's what I think it is, doesn't it mean that Pence, the one person Dems hate more than Trump, becomes president?

I imagine they think they can immediately impeach him for mass electrocution of gays or something and then they have President Pelosi.

HE IS BRIBING PEOPLE TO VOTE FOR HIM
THIS IS HOW DEMOCRACY DIES :'(:'(:'(:'(

1. I hope your not serious because if you are I got a hole backlog of blue paychecks buying votes for ya.

2. After the stunt the dems pulled trying to pass this bill any one with half a brain should know this only got put through because of him. Considering how much pork the dems put into this and tried to put into this him signing the checks is fucking nothing.

3. That's too simple for our 3 dimensional backgammon emperor, by putting his name on the checks he 1. Get's his hardcore fans who don't really need to cash it keep it since his signature is worth more. 2. get's priveleged socialist not to cash it because they would rather burn it than taking money from cheetoh hitler, 3. Get's the minorities the message that the rebuplicans are willing to play ball. and 4. Ensures only those who really need it on the left cash it.

The first cases of the Spanish Flu happened in 1917. Even without looking this up, this is amazingly petty. Also, nice changing of the virus name. Too bad nobody will care.
Guess they should call the Chinkflu "COVID-20" at this point to cover up their TDS.

Wouldn't calling for impeachment for political opinions be unconstitutional?

I'd love to know how that reply ranking assignment works. The same basic replies from the same accounts. So inorganic and obvious.
You really do have to wonder who decides, and how they programmed a special ranking for certain accounts. Eugene Gu is always at the top, like how the Krassensteins were before someone discussed their past too loudly and got them to shrink back as if struck.

The left have long argued that

1. If they manage to illegally remove Trump, that Pence will be so fucking scared of being next person forced out in said coup, that he'll turn into a full on spineless jellyfish that does whatever Pelosi and Schumer demand he does, and give the Democrats whatever they want no matter how hard McConnell and the House GOP beg Pence to tell Pelosi/Schumer to fuck off.

2. That even if Pence DID show a spine, the left have long argued that "they can beat Pence with one hand tied behind their back both in DC and in the court of public opinion", because "he's a fundie Christian and we know how to beat "those kind of people" in a fight".

The later is part arrogance from the left over how they beat the fundie Christians in the culture wars and in the media by way of demonizing fundies as racist/bigoted and how "neoliberalism is cool, hip, and smart! Not like those stupid, humorless, fascist fundies!". And is a tacit admission that the left wholesale can't be Trump because Trump made conservative cool/hip/smart whereas the neoliberalism/SJW are the new fundamentalists and that Trump is such a person/movement, that all of the old tricks of the left are useless against him.

So they dream of Pence replacing Trump, believing that taking down Trump in a coup will make Pence their bitch and he'll do whatever they demand of him (or else) and even if Pence calls their bluff, that Pence will be an easy villain to beat since the left has been beating Fundies for decades.

I expected Trump picked Pence to put the opposing party in a corner. Say he did get impeached, now there's somebody more competent but scarier than Trump. The rude, crass businessman with the conservative, religious Fundie baby boomer.

Now I'm thinking Pence is there to appease to the right wing baby boomer generation of traditionalism that cemented American culture from the 50s to the 80s. A God fearing White man.

My favorite thing to ask somebody when they get upset when I say Wuhan flu (because I’m at autist) is why are they defending a country putting Muslims and Christians in concentration camps? God damn, this entire event really has shown how much money China’s been pumping to get networks to fucking ignore that lil bit. I did hear one story that npr did of a “re-education camp” in a neutral to positive manner.

For the side that likes to call trump a fucking nazi never thought I’d see them defending a country that is actively committing genocide. Maybe optimistic, but I thought as a whole we kinda were like maybe that’s not cool? Idk, guess I just thought more highly of my fellow Americans. It reminds me of a talk I saw a while ago where he says “your friend says he hates his wife and you know he’s joking. Then one day you say hey your wife is being beaten and he says well I hate her” - idr and prob pretty shitty quote. it’s like yes I do have criticisms, but I don’t hate my country. I just want us to be even better than we are currently.

Hell, China’s the only country with the death penalty that has the number executed “A state secret” and we’re supposed to believe the numbers from them? Their initial response was to arrest doctors and journalist, keep the lid shut for a minimum of 6 weeks, but we should praise how they handled the situation?

Fucking Christ - trump doing these events and having people actually get to see him (not just out of context part of a sentence) is changing some minds. My FIL has been cleansed of his TDS by just raw exposure to trump and is finally like “what the fuck has the media been manipulating“.

I didn’t want to try and “convert” him (I consider myself an independent more than anything although right leaning now days), but just that people with different ideas aren’t just idiots. I’d try and correct something with the full context and my wife and MIL would say some shit so we wouldn’t debate. I don’t mind debating him (we get along well and he’s an intelligent guy), but it was like when we were one on one he just didn’t want to see the information I was talking about.

I understand that’s just a trait humans have, dogging yourself deeper, but I’d rather have the full information and then go from there. Idk,

I’ve mentioned this before, but I’ve distrusted the media ever since I was young. Basically a story I knew for a fact to be 95% false and the only truth was that a person was there made me realize “uhm they didn’t check a fucking thing and just made people believe a fucking con artist!?”

You would hope it gets better at larger institutions, but it doesn’t. You see graphs with seemingly random time frames and have to check “is that when the instrument/ability/we even cared to measure that or the year that looks the best for your argument?” Sadly, you learn graphs are used to mislead more than they are ever used to inform.

I fucking hate journalist is what my autistic rant is mostly about. When they knowingly go on air to lie it’s because that is the best they have. They can’t just investigate (most don’t even fucking do this), do basic fact checking (or do it incredibly dishonest), and then tell you about it. No, they need to create a set piece to place their bullshit otherwise the illusion would be broken.
