Thats why i changed my job after just 2 years. i get more pay for factory security than for working in the lab. just 28 hours a week, just a couple of meetings a week and sleeping while working is no problem. the sensors go full Air siren the moment they drop out of the green. But it's a fairly known fact here than going into STEM in condemning yourself to poverty.
the whole industry in germany is giddy to start working at full speed. Lab techs are working overtime to get test facilities running, companies changing their production line to produce critical equipment, etc. germans need to work or they arent happy. And as for production. These are PUBLIC institutions. They sell their patents cheap, free even in many cases. As soon as test results finish we're hoping YOU will pick up that torch. If you do, please do remember to share. We don't expect much but we'd be grateful if you do.
Slight correction:Finally over 100 cases in Afghanistan.

Quarantine? Is that a drink? While most New Yorkers are hunkering in place, others are popping corks and staging parties that defy occupancy and social-distancing edicts. Lucian Wintrich, a former …nypost.com
Well sure, like the 1918 flu, that ended with a few million deaths. I'm sure that's a great comfort to everyone who lost a loved one to the Chink bat flu.

Because democrat states were targeted...Why are we not seeing images of places breaking down like in NY / LA / Washington State?
I remember back in the 1990's when there was a long conversation about the need to open China up to the world because all of the Western institutions would start to slowly liberalize China over time and shake their government out of their totalitarian habits. The concern from the other side of the aisle was that China would, in fact, slowly destroy these institutions and bend them to their authoritarianism instead. Under the direction of Bill Clinton, America took a bet on the former.
It's not all doom and gloom - here are some good news from France - Parisian rats trying to scurry to the countryside are being hunted down and get their heads smashed in / cars burned![]()
![]()
☣Around 1 million Parisians left the city before the quarantine started. 20% of the population.
It raises concern as they could have carry the virus to the countryside, who was not contaminated yet. Turning this event into a mega-cluster.
Some groups of citizens formed to fight the Parisians, considered as invaders, as hipsters, metrosexuals and urbanites. Some have been assaulted. And cars with plates from Paris have been attacked or burned. In Brittany, a former terrorist group temporarily reformed to target Parisians.
Context : In France, Parisians are hated. They are often seen as uprooted elites, hating the rest of France. The fact they are leaving their beloved ivory tower (Paris) to join the countryside with the risk of bringing the virus with them, is what caused the backlash.

Had a conversation with my neighbor last night, from over a fence. She's a physical therapist who works at a hospital, her studio was converted into a triage area at the start of all this. Her position has been converted over to something having to do with administering drugs and supplies.
We live in a place that's reporting a fair number of confirmed cases and the local media has been reporting about hospitals being overwhelmed. A quote that keeps coming up is doctors are fighting hard to keep this from becoming NYC.
The hospital she works at is a pretty good one. They have an ER, they have an ICU, they have a cardiac unit and a burn unit that can be used to treat coronavirus patients. The staff is excellent including a few people who are preeminent in their fields. The hospital converted over common areas for patient treatment, the first floor is filled with beds where there used to be chairs and waiting rooms. There are a couple National Guard guys stationed at the entrance, they just sit there all day while cars pass.
She's a little frustrated because her hospital has no coronavirus cases - literally they have not seen a single one.
The place could not be more prepared but no one is sick, the ER is just seeing normal Darwin-award activity and that's it. They have been doing tests on some people, the results come back negative or indicate the patient already had the virus and it went away. They are part of a hospital network and none of their hospitals are anywhere near capacity. Some of them have cases, but most of the people who come to the ER are sent home and told to isolate. There's only a few serious cases anywhere in the network and they are under control, it looks like the patients will get through this.
Yet the local news is talking about it like we're swimming in a sea of death. I told her about the videos from China, we both wondered why we're not seeing anything like that. We both believe there are people with the virus out there, we don't understand why there's such a difference between what the media is saying and what's actually happening.
Does anyone have any actual videos from US healthcare facilities becoming overwhelmed? Why are we not seeing images of places breaking down like in NY / LA / Washington State?
On the afternoon of March 26, 2020, a large truck stopped at the west entrance of Jingya Hall. The car was loaded with ashes from Hankou Funeral Home. The driver said that he had installed more than 2,500 ashes in this car. He had already unloaded the same number of cars yesterday.

We're well past the point where we can say that the experiment had any success. They've done so much damage to every institution that they've touched, that they're functionally just useless cheerleading squads for the Chinese government.
Archive EverythingI didn't see this information posted (if so rate me late) but the number of urns for ashes indicates China is lying about the bat flu deaths. Again.

It was that stupid fucking "End of History" meme that drove so much of this. We beat the dirty Reds, the Cold War was over, we now had proof that the Western liberal democratic capitalism was the ideal form for society! If we include the remaining oppressive regimes in our globalist power structures, they'll understand just how great we have it and work to change their countries to be just like ours!I remember back in the 1990's when there was a long conversation about the need to open China up to the world because all of the Western institutions would start to slowly liberalize China over time and shake their government out of their totalitarian habits. KYes, how dare parents care for their children during a national crisis. The horrible, selfish fuckers. They should all be slaving over a desk so you can get a nice vacation.I hate all these assholes who are quarantining for their kids. Goddammit kids are fucking fine. Other people, who are more susceptible, are coming in to do your job for you.
