Star Wars Griefing Thread (SPOILERS) - Safety off

I don't mind the duality of Spice both being an addictive and medicinal drug tbh; it'd be kind of like opiates at that point, where it does actually have value in the medical field (pain relief) but at the same time is super addictive and makes junkies crave it heavily.

Han still shot first though.

I like "Star Trek Patrick". It's not Picard, it's just Patrick Stewart.

Patrick Steward is honestly a prick that has lost all my respect. He is a great actor but thats it.
Oh, you didn't even get to my favorite moment: where they actually kill Patrick Picard and turn him into a robot. Why? Because now he can experience bigotry probably. Oh, and so he can punch people really hard and kill him. It's kind of like how that Romulan Elrond is just there to chop people's heads off.

Anyways, yeah, Picard is dead. Literally. And I don't care since it was never a real show anyway... just a spite fanfic written by malevolent tards.

Oh no, Im plenty aware of the awful ending of Picard (I watched Doomcock's reviews and I share his sentiment). The funny thing is that its...well, pointless, it doesnt change anything in the long run. It would have been cool if the robot body looked like his TNG self (some deaging tech) but nah...But I still say that at least with Jake Skywalker, it was just a movie, with"JL" it was a constant torture section. And at least Mark Hamill hated what they have done with Luke, Patrick probably motivated them to make Picard look like the worst.

So like four sci-fi franchises ruined by wokeness.
Better fix that my dude.

Anyway...

So, has SW shit hitting the fan slowed down enough for now? Should I continue where I left off on the last omega shitpost or wait for images to start working again?
I can see images fine, but our avatars are gone. Go ahead.

I need to ask. Star Wars was kindof dead to me when the announced they killed the EU. I saw the writing on the wall. But I need to ask. Did anyone think more Clone Wars would be good? If so, is this really what you wanted? With the exception of bad batch this looks like Asohka the animated series.

I was cautiously optimistic when the show came back, but we only get twelve episodes and important arcs skipped, with some new plot holes.
I've noticed that a few images on previous posts have disappeared, which is why I'm cautious.
I guess you have to wait another week for that.

I don't know why they only did twelve episodes skipping over Son of Dathomoir which explains how maul escapes? I have multiple theories.

1.) Disney would only give them money for twelve so Filoni picked the episodes he wanted to do.

2.) They actually could do more than twelve episodes but Filoni only wanted episodes that feathered Ahsoka and Rex, he even said The Clone Wars is really about those two characters.

3.) They were forced to squeeze in new two token characters and rewrite the arcs around it, dropping the Utapau arc.

Is it a clone wars done by Genndy?

Then the answer is no.

I am morbidly curious how they're going to screw up Mandalorian.

Dave Filoni couldn't help himself and he's shoehorning Ahsoka into it, I expect to see her riding a giant wolf. If it makes you feel any better Jon Faveru apparently kicked Ku Klux Kennedy off the set.

I don't feel better because this is exactly what I expected; that the show would turn to shit eventually because one of the creators is fine with ruination as long as his shit is safe.

I like Ahsoka, but I wanted the Mandalorian to stand on its own without any characters from Filoni Wars.

Speaking of Filoni Wars the latest episode had Ahsoka leave Corusant and Anakin timeline wise shouldn't be there but...
The Filoni Wars timeline is confusing or it's a plot hole, In Rots it was clear Anakin has been away from corusant and Padme for like six months, either this episode takes place before the bad batch or we have another continuity error.

The rumor is that Ahsoka in Mandalorian is minor.

It's a precursor for a live action television series.

If that's case, I feel slightly better. Apparently, she is not a reoccurring character on that show.

Let Mandalorian be on it's own, with it's own set of characters. Live action orange lady can fuck off on her own thing...

But, it's just the rumor...

Hey another reason to disregard tcw! Also Yularen aged horribly in three years.

At this point I doubt it's just a rumor.

My guess is that the Son of Dathomir arc wasn't considered because those events were released in the Son of Dathomir comic book series. Ditto for the events of the novel Dark Disciple which were originally intended to be a TCW arc as well.

Still, I get the point I think you might be making. These last 12 episodes could have been a good way for TCW to wrap up and set the stage for the events before and during the start of Episode III. While it's possible that the Siege of Manadlore arc is intended to be the transition between the two, the remaining new TCW episodes really do feel more like The Ahsoka Show than a continuation of TCW. There's nothing wrong with showing what happened to Ahsoka after she left the Jedi Order, but there's no need for her to be the main emphasis in these episodes that could have been used to present and showcase some of the events leading up to the start of Episode III such as Palpatine's plan to have himself "kidnapped" and use it to rid himself of Dooku and further groom Anakin for his fall to the Dark Side.

Once again it feels like Disney squandered yet another opportunity to world build with a story that fills in some gaps leading up to Episode III. Instead, they chose to showcase fan-favorite Ahsoka and shoehorn in some extraneous wokeness for good measure *sigh*.

I don't mind episodes featuring Ahsoka's whereabouts, but they only narrowed it to twelve episodes, so it feels like unnecessary fluff cutting out the juicy bits.
