Disaster Andrew Gillum found at scene of suspected drug overdose in Miami hotel room - gay meth orgy

Andrew Gillum, the Florida Democratic gubernatorial candidate in 2018, was found by police at South Beach hotel early Friday, accompanied by a man who was suspected to have overdosed on drugs, according to a Miami Beach police report.

According to the police report, officers were called to the Mondrian South Beach Hotel where they met the Miami Beach Fire Rescue treating 30-year-old Travis Dyson for a cardiac arrest. Fire officials advised the officers that Dyson may have had a drug overdose. Dyson was taken to Mount Sinai Medical Center where nurses reported he is in a stable condition.

Gillum, who was also found in the hotel room with another man, Aldo Mejias, was unable to talk to the police due to his "inebriated" state.

Police say Mejias made the emergency call after he discovered Dyson and Gillum inside the hotel room under the influence.

According to the police, Mejias gave his credit card to Dyson earlier in the day so that he could book the room Friday, and they had planned to meet up there later on.

When Meijas arrived around 11 p.m., Dyson opened the door, and then immediately collapsed on the bed, according to the police report. Meijas allegedly found Gillum in the bathroom vomiting. Meijas told officers that Dyson was having trouble breathing, so he woke him up. Dyson then vomited and collapsed again and then Meijas began chest compressions and called the emergency services, the police report said.

Responding officers found three small, clear bags suspected of containing crystal methamphetamine in the hotel room.

Gillum released a statement Friday morning, denying any allegations that he used drugs. "I was in Miami last night for a wedding celebration when first responders were called to assist one of my friends," he said. "While I had too much to drink, I want to be clear that I have never used methamphetamines. I apologize to the people of Florida for the distraction this has caused our movement. I'm thankful to the incredible Miami Beach EMS team for their efforts."

Gillum was not taken into custody and went home "without incident." The father of three said he will spend the next few weeks with his family.

More shit
According to a male escort website that where goes by the moniker Brodie Scott, he says in a 2018 interview, “I go the extra mile by being very aware of what I do in the present and how it affects the future… like I won’t make a present decision until I play out how it may in the future.” During the interview, Dyson said that he came from “humble beginnings” in a small town. Dyson concluded the interview by saying, “I’m not quiet. I speak my mind. If I want something I’ll work to get it.”

The Miami Beach Police Department released photos and videos taken the night former Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum was found inside a South Beach hotel room with a reputed male escort and suspected methamphetamine.

None of the photos or videos, however, appeared to show a clear image of Gillum, the 2018 Democratic nominee for Florida governor who bowed out of public life, at least temporarily, after the scandal broke last month.
The department released the materials Wednesday in response to public records requests from the Tallahassee Democrat and other news outlets. The department said it redacted some video footage it considered exempt under Florida public records laws.
The materials include photos taken inside the hotel room — which circulated online weeks ago after a British tabloid got hold of them — police body camera videos, 911 recordings and previously released incident reports.

The photos and video were taken early the morning of March 13, after police and paramedics were called to the high-rise hotel in response to a reported overdose.

Police found Gillum in Room 1107 with two men: Travis Dyson, the reputed escort, and Aldo Mejias, a self-described Gillum friend who paid for the room, according to police reports.
When officers arrived, paramedics were treating Dyson for an overdose. Gillum was too inebriated to speak, though he later appeared fine and left the hotel without incident, according to police reports.
One of the photos shows pills and pill bottles strewn about the bedroom along with a plastic baggie containing a white substance, an empty beer bottle and what appears to be a blood pressure machine, perhaps brought by paramedics.

The Police Department blurred and muted video footage taken inside the hotel room, making it unclear who is in the frame or what exactly is happening. One video, however, shows a detective asking permission to search the room from Mejias, who consented.
Ernesto Rodriguez, spokesman for Miami Beach Police, said the department redacted footage taken inside the hotel room, which he said "a reasonable person would expect to be private." Such videos are exempt under state statutes, he noted.

"Accordingly, the city of Miami Beach has redacted certain portions of those body camera recordings provided (and has also completely redacted another body camera recording) which were taken entirely within the interior of a hotel room," Rodriguez said in an email to news organizations.
A spokesman for Gillum did not respond to an email seeking comment.

The embarrassing incident prompted Gillum, a married father of three young children, to take a break from politics and stints as a pundit on CNN and elsewhere on cable TV.
He publicly apologized after the incident, saying he "had too much to drink" but never used methamphetamine. A couple of days later, he announced he would retreat from public life and enter rehab for an alcohol problem he developed after his loss in the 2018 Florida governor's race.

“I know the damaging effects it can have when untreated,” Gillum said in the prepared statement. “I also know that alcoholism is often a symptom of deeper struggles. I am committed to doing the personal work to heal fully and show up in the world as a more complete person.”

Police reports from the incident first surfaced through the Twitter feed of Candace Owens, a conservative commentator and author. Later, photos of the hotel room were published by a British tabloid, which claimed to have obtained them through official records requests.
A police spokesman told the Tallahassee Democrat last month that the department did not release the photos and was investigating their dissemination as possible leaks.
However, the spokesman on Wednesday said some photos from the Gillum matter were in fact released by the city of Miami Beach's Clerk's Office. That happened after the Police Department "inadvertently" sent the photos to the records clerk.

The requests should have been handled by PD but this one was fulfilled," Rodriguez said in an email.
The photos are the same the department released on Wednesday and not others circulating online, including some that have not been authenticated. Rodriguez said the department is still looking into how the original incident report was released.

Holy shit. We dodged a fucking bullet with DeSantis by a NARROW margin. Imagine Gillum making executive decisions for Florida high on meh while sodomizing and getting sodomized by a male prostitute.
I'm failing to see how this is bridge too far for Florida. Is it because they failed to involve a gator, breaking an entering, and a parole violation somehow?

This man is the rightful King of the Floridamen.
