So I've started to notice a trend with Corona, there seems to be a ton of people pissed off at the christians now, there's a slew of articles attacking them and there seems to be a lot more people taking potshots at them from unexpected places. Like I've seen atleast three videos over the past two days that have a line that goes something like, "I'd go to church and pray but god doesn't exist" or some deviation, hell the boys at RLM did it.
Anybody know why that is? Is there a reason past the usual atheist undying hatred for their christian parents?
The left is flailing about, because their ENTIRE attack strategy against the right/conservative for decades was based upon Christianity bashing and the idea that they the lunatic left/neo-liberals were "hip/cool/trendy/the cool kids everyone wants to be like and aspire to be".
They can't fucking stand, can't fucking STAND the fact that the general public now sees the lunatic left/neo-liberals as the face of the establish and status quo. To quote Gavin McInnes, being conservative/alt right is the new punk rock and that drives the left eating shit out of the toilet level insane, because THEY are supposed to be the cool rebellious ones and the right are supposed to be the evil cold, out of touch religious fanatic fascists that have to be rebelled against (see also the left's obsession with Harry Potter and them doing their damnest to villify everyone who doesn't 100% identify with the rebellion in star wars).
Even worse, they can't fucking stand that the religious right effectively had agreed to be Trump's bitch and are openly making excuses for blindly sitting in the back of the bus after YEARS riding up front in the front passenger seat, let alone why they keep quiet and all but officially admit that they are supporting Trump because, for better or worse, he's President and that they are just hoping, against all hope, that he gets enough judges confirm that they can one day possibly get Roe Vs Wade overturned.
In a lot of ways, the lunatic left are FURIOUS that the religious right didn't follow the neocons out the door when it came to the Never Trump exodus. Toss in the fact that Trump's approval ratings are across the board and those who honestly thought impeachment had a chance, and you have a LOT of lunatic lefties losing their mind and lashing out at religion/God these days because they truly feel that God has foresaken them by allowing Trump to continue to be President.

I've said how this political climate is turning leftists into MovieBob clones, but it looks more and more that MovieBob was just a leftist who was completely upfront about what he actually wanted.
They left know that they can't fucking acknowledge why Trump becoming President happened, because that means people and policies and movements on the left that can never EVER be criticized or called out on their shit have to be named, shamed, and criticized and worse, PURGED from the party for creating the perfect storm to allow for Trump to be President.
It's easier to call all of Trump's supporters racist, bigoted hicks or douchebag frat boy or evil white women of a certain tax bracket. It's why they tried to do to "economic anxiety" what they did to Gamegate (claiming that calling out corrupt jounalism in the gaming sphere was "distracting" from GG being about "women bashing") by claiming that economic anxiety was code for "being an open racist", by racists and racists apologists trying to cover up their racism. Better to blood libel your enemies as racist, that acknowledge their motives for voting against the left and denying the left power, because acknowledging their motives/reasons will make one less likely to vote for left leaning politicians.
For all of the talk about Trump being an existential crisis, it's true in one big way: it's basically nearly 25+ years neoliberal and lunatic left corruption and narcissistic fart sniffing finally coming back to bite the left on the ass and the left is DESPERATE not to have that conversation about why they are at the place they are at right now, that the bulk of he nation HATES the left's guts.
