French expert says second study shows malaria drug helps fight corona…

He's the head of an infectious diseases department at a fucking hospital. I think he knows what he's doing. People who are against it, are against it for purely political reasons.
This also came out today :

I wanna be optimistic and think official approval as treatment option for the chinese virus by two governments means that the results of the studies that didn't go that long were pretty clear on the efficiency of the stuff. It's not really hearsay anymore claimed by some doctor, two governments decided to officially sanction that this drug is an option for the wuflu. Even in this emergency, that's not a decision that's been taken lightly I think. I wonder how many more governments will follow suit, but I imagine quite a few will in quick succession now. I do remember reading last week that german clinics have been using this drug in treatment too.
That grifting mong deserves to be sued into oblivion.UPDATE: One week after reopening, students are getting sick with symptoms comparable to coronavirus.

Plus it was test in SARS and MERS, so it has precedence. Not exactly. It's very possible it might work or might not work. I'm certainly in the boat of hoping it does. However the quickness of this willingness to test it in a offlabel use is not indicative of anything. The reason governments are so quick to approve it is because it's not a new drug. There's no need for intensive testing because it's already been done, the side effects are known unlike in a brand new medication that needs lots of testing to get approved. This one has been around a while. It's just a matter of giving it approval for offlabel prescription to see if it sticks. If it works as an offlabel use, good, if it doesn't it's back to the drawing board to see what else they can try.
It's very possible it might work or might not work.
We have been saying this for over 2 months now. Nice for you to verify what has been repeatedly many of times here on this forum. The amount of misinformation is fucking staggering. The WHO is totally full shit. We should have known that when they declared that TCM is as efficacious as western medicine. Wuflu is airborne, and there is real science to prove it. Trump, Trudeau, Johnson and all of the fucking managers (because none of them are really leaders), are reacting based on the next election instead of evidence. And there is a good body of evidence emerging to help us fight this beast.
Based on the weeks of research I have put in, here are my recommendations for all Kiwis who want to be proactive:
Nobody should want to go back to real life any time soon. Once the health care system is overwhelmed and people start dying by the hundreds of thousands, the economy will collapse anyway. Better to flatten the curve and take the financial hit without 1.5 million dead. Its just a fucking recession. We'll come out of it even quicker than 2008. There will be opportunity everywhere. We will rebuild the economy better than ever because we will rely less on global partners for essentials. Stay calm and ride this shit out best that you can.
- Don't go out unless necessary, (groceries, pharmacy, medical).
- Wear a mask whenever in public. Homemade masks, surgical masks, even scarves are better than nothing.
- Wear gloves whenever in public (take them off before getting in your car and use a new pair at your next stop).
- Take vitamin D3 daily. If you are low and almost everybody is, start with 7000 IUs per day for 4 days and then 4000 daily.
- Take 1000 mg of a high quality vitamin C per day.
- Take a good multivitamin daily.
- Drink tonic water, as much as you can, preferably the fancy craft brands if you can find it. Micro dose that quinine.
- Shit spreads asymptomatically. Keep 3m (9 feet) between you and anybody not in your home.
- Find a good reporter to follow and stay up on the daily scientific findings. *See recommendation below.
- Avoid hospitals, doctor's offices et al unless you think your life is in danger. I caught the bitch from my fucking surgeon!
My favorite reporter is Peak Prosperity. Sound science with plenty of citations. The guy is a former toxicologist long turned economic futurist. It is a good balance of pure science and socioeconomic insight. Today's video was excellent and you should all watch it. It even reports on the science of sterilizing your masks! I'll get off my soap box now. Stay healthy.
tested negative
back to work Tuesday.
will update then. we've got a truck to load into now instead of stacking the freezers, it came while I was out.

But but but Trump said he hoped things would be better by Easter! Something something whuuut?
Yeah, I know he says silly stuff, but I want to hear other things instead of the same call out questions.
There's nothing wrong with not liking one's leader. Hell, it's more patriotic to be critical of their action.
