why did all of this have too happen at the year were i had to be a normalfag the most? one of my best friends were suppose to get married at june but they decided not too move it to a later date, but too move it even sooner so now, its by the end of april. i dont even think its gonna happen since the government have ordered that you cant have more than 50 people gathered at one place and advised everyone too stay at home. im not even sure if i want too go anymore with all that is happening with my family. its also funny that people from outside the bigger cites tell people of the big cities too fuck off and dont go there since they dont want to deal with the virus which is fair. but one thing i know is this,


ITS ALL CHINAS FAULT!

People are taking videos of empty hospital waiting rooms and parking lots under the hashtag #Filmyourhospital . Americans went from "its just the flu" to "holy shit its the apocalypse" and then circling back to "its just the flu" in like a week. They're only accepting serious cases, visitors aren't allowed, and doctors aren't allowed to film patients. No shit the lots are empty. Unless you live in WA or NY they aren't going to be full. I thought we might've been able to get this in control but, people like this are going to fuck it up for everyone.

They also forget that most hospitals have huge indoor multi-level parking garages, most patients aren't even parked in the lot.

More on the current funeral home situation in Wuhan. Long lines to pick up ashes from the estimated 40,000+ cremations performed during lockdown, at least 500 urns/day for seven crematoriums. Families paid hush money to keep quiet. CCP clearly wants these funerals done and over with (something about Qing Ming, a grave tending ceremony?) They want that fictitious death toll of 2500 to stand

Yeah, this is a good point. So Ebola freaks people out, with good reason, but it was contained quickly over three months because of how it spreads. You need direct contact and it’s lethal, fast and nasty.
TB is a disease of poverty and crowding. Not easy to catch, but stealthy, you don’t know you’ve got it at first and very hard to eradicate. So that’s spread with immigration from poor countries but it’s not going to wipe us out (until we are all in hives and the antibiotics stop working.)
But this - this is perfect for our modern world. Respiratory, and fomite transmission, A long incubation, and contagious. It’s perfect for how we live now. Let’s hope humanity learns the lesson. Disease surveillance and borders are important. Long supply chains and fragile interconnections are bad.
And last night I was wondering about those other four Coronaviruses that are mild in humans. Maybe this is how they started. Maybe one of the ancient plagues no one has found a culprit for was in fact SARS BC. Who knows?
The trend is for a virus to become milder over time, but there are often more severe waves before that happens and it’s not something that can be predicted. Human behaviour creates conditions that can drive spread of milder or more severe disease too

Gotta agree. People aren’t going to stay locked down. It makes the Swedish approach look understandable.

What else? Mustard gas didn’t directly mutate the virus, but those with damaged lungs would have been easy prey for it. The trenches bred disease, and the population wasn’t in great health. The NHS was set up partly as a response to just how malnourished and weak so much of the fighting draft were found to be for ww2.

40K cremations are actually nothing surprising and not the smoking gun, you're looking for - the people did not stop dying from other causes while the Airborne ChinkAids Epidemic has been raging and all funerals were banned for months, so the backlog is understandable.

I emailed Senator Richard Blumenthal, Dr. Robert Redfield at the CDC, and Secretary Alex Azar of HHS, back on the 25th of February, demanding to know if they had plans to set up negative-pressure tents, ventilators, and oxygen to deal with the inevitable surge of cases.

This is an excerpt from that email:

We need negative-pressure isolation tents to treat patients. Thousands and thousands of them.

We also need mechanical ventilator equipment, dialysis machines, ECMOs, and tons and tons of oxygen bottles and nasal cannulas for people with hypoxemia.

Responders need PPE. Lots of it. Good respirators, like the kind that take 40mm CBRN filters, not surgical masks.

And, of course, we need robust transportation for all of these supplies, as well as strict military quarantine measures to isolate the infected from the uninfected, should the worst come to pass and the spread of this lurking killer cannot be easily controlled.

If factories don’t exist to assemble any of these things, they need to exist, right now.

People are probably not allowed to have cell phones with them when admitted with corona virus for infection control issues, I would imagine anyway, if I was a nurse I would think this.

I've seen conspiratards posting these photos/videos as proof that the entire epidemic is a fake, and that The Powers That Be have duped the world's population into staying indoors and fearfully isolating from each other so they can carry out some nefarious plot or other. Completing the 5G rollout is one; rendering the world's population willing to accept mandatory vaccines (which will include, or actually be, a subdermal microchip tracking device, depending on the conspiratard), is another.

I did see one such video of the hospital closest to me, in which the guy filming it remarked on how there were no cars parked on the streets or in the lots anywhere around it--well duh, all of the staff and visitor parking is in a vast underground garage; the large parking lot adjoining the hospital doesn't even belong to it (and has signs posted to that effect); and there is no on-street parking in the immediate vicinity of the hospital, which he would have noticed had he read the signs and had there been normal levels of traffic. And of course there was nobody coming and going through the usual public entrances because no visitors are allowed.

As for why there are no videos of overcrowded ICUs in the US flooded with coronavirus patients (another thing the conspiratards jump to the worst conclusions about), I've seen that question asked in this very thread, and since no medifags have answered it yet, I'm going to venture that taking video of patients without their consent (or even knowledge) and posting it online, constitutes a HIPAA violation. Other countries (such as Italy) may not have such strict patient privacy laws, so that's why video has come from there.

I guess my adolescent experience of being a bullied shut-in kicked in and now days slowly bleed into one another and fly faster like a speeding bullet. It's going to be three weeks now since my city metro service has been terminated and almost two since only essential personnel for the city, on selected routes is accepted on remaining public transport.

Just a bit over a month of quarantine left. I wonder if my boss pays me since I didn't do that much.

I hope it doesn't last more into May. Otherwise, we'll actually have to start fighting for our survival. This time it will be worse than after the fall of the USSR.

I WANT MY NORMAL LIFE BACK! ALL BECAUSE SOME MAINLANDER HAD TO EAT A FUCKING BAT. CHINA STRONK, SUKA BLYAT AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
