I think it's tough for everyone to believe it's a troll because to do it, Dick sided with Onision, a taboo so large that it doesn't seem worth doing for just a joke, so people think it has to be legit support.

Oh, for the first hour or so they let Craig monologue, with only the very occasional question, comment, or joke (all of which fly over Greg's head). They ramp up the jokes later on, and agree and amplify on eveyththing Greg says to get him to say crazy shit like "yes, it's okay to call a pedophile the n word if it's in context", and other instant classics.
Dick is the king of “yes and?”‘ing weirdos, it’s one of the reasons TBP podcast was so good is because he played off Maddoxs weirdness. This Onision I think he was a little too soft, he could of gotten some sharp jabs in but oninison was talking and dick probably was hoping he would say some retarded shit

He kept sliding in little digs and statements that made Onision say interesting things. Like getting him to talk about how his dad is a pedophile and he "doesn't remember his childhood" and other stuff. He was definitely egging him on along certain paths in the conversation to get him to say more than he ought to. It worked a few times but not enough to get anything really new tbh.
