Oh I totally agree that Russhole would be a rapist if A.) He had the competence, strength and physical prowess, and B.) He could get away with it. Mostly A. I only put him above rapists because he hasn't actually raped anyone.
As far as Nazis go, genocide wasn't the goal for 99% of them. The end goal was to secure a safe and prosperous future for their people, which I think most people would agree is a noble goal. However, as I said earlier, a lot of the things they did in pursuit of that goal were fucked up: Lebensraum, the Holocaust, etc. But it was the leaders who decided that doing those horrific acts was necessary to achieve that goal. The people under their command were merely following orders, believing their superiors knew what was best to secure their future, even high ranking Nazis. I can't fault someone for following orders, but I do fault their leaders for issuing those orders.
The bottom line is they were serving their people, or at least felt they were serving their people. It was just executed in an atrocious way. And despite the horrible things that were done, they also did a lot of good for their people. And I put that above a self-serving, greasy asshole like Russ.
