Dropped off a box of 100 cloth masks with a sealable flap so the 'filters' can be reloaded. Bought some non-fiberglass high-filter air filters for trucks, cut and sewed them as replacements. Put them in the box with instructions on how to UV lamp the filters (they can be unfolded like an accordian) and how to clean the masks. My kids, wife, and I made them. Took us two days all sitting around BSing and watching Netflix.

The place we dropped them off looked startled as fuck.

Went to Wal-Mart to pick up some stuff. PVC pipe for a project, some fertilizer and chickenwire fencing, another machete, liquid plastic spray and four cans of teflon spray, some other stuff. Stopped by an Army-Navy surplus, bought two more pair of heavy mechanic's coveralls with the old lining snaps, bought some old nylon/plastic ponchos, and some other stuff for a project.

I'm pretty sure I can replicate decent enough MOPP gear with what I've got. Gonna see if the EMT's want it before I build it. If nobody wants it I probably won't bother.

Did a fluid, filter, tire check for the neighbor lady who's like 500 years old. Asked my two other neighbors if they needed any help.

Went to Walmart. No wait to go in, just walk in like a human being. Meat and egg supply good. Milk fair, shortage of butter/margarine. No toilet paper on shelves, but saw employees opening containers to put on shelves. Saw little in the way of paper towels and tissues. Hasidim might all look the same but they have very marked differences between them. For example the Satmar and Lubavitch can't stand each other and hold different beliefs about almost everything. I'm not surprised they're defying the orders on large gatherings and social distancing but they're doing so in direct defiance of almost every Hasidic rebbe in New York, all of whom have canceled services and told them to stay home.
