Correct.

If they get into discovery and get these assclown's emails, slack logs, discord logs, twitter DMs, etc, and they discover say, Sabat sneaking around like Gollum with a boner, then Sabat gets brought in for round 2 with the clock starting the second those documents are handed over.

Sabat would be the only one worth pursuing and I'm not even sure it's not too late. Marchi and/or Monica would have to gift wrap him. They've dug a deep enough hole Moronica probably would sell out Sabat but only when reality sets in. The problem is that Marchi is the only one smart enough to save anything like that but Vic's team won't have leverage over her. Moronica probably deleted useful shit to bargain with (if it exists). They are that dumb. I guess if Marchi really wants to stick with her bud, she could hand over what she has (if there is anything and she has it) to save her friend.

Ultimately though he can clear his name a little bit with these two and get some bucks from Funi.

I dunno, it might be nice to put, say, Marzgurl or Hanleia in debt for the rest of their lives.

We're also forgetting that some of the conventions were complicit in this, and Vic absolutely has a case against some of them. Yeah, he's not going after them right now, but if he does go scorched earth? That would be interesting. NONE of them could survive even hiring a lawyer for basic discovery purposes.

A lot of the problems that this case is in would've had a better outcome if he did. I know he's the nice guy but he could've still be a nice person with lawyers that will rip a new anus to those who defamed him. Vic acting the way he is might've helped public opinion but sometimes you got to be the asshole if anyone thinks he will win the suit.
