I can believe it. But there is one thing that makes no sense, even with his mama, his government pogey and scams he tries to cash in on I don't know how he can afford to live in Vancouver. That city is outrageously expensive with the highest cost of living In Canada, even Doctors can not not afford to live there and must commute to the city from some town an hour away. So what's up with this?

Really? Hell I would have thought that everything would be cheap in Canada as no one who could afford to live anywhere else would stay there. I mean crap why not just move to the North Pole?

Our working theory is that after Yitzhak's death, they sold the family home for enough to buy the two stratas in Walnut Grove. Jonathan's is only a junior one-bedroom on a lower floor. Maybe Yitzhak left some investments and life insurance, too. Miriam would have old-age benefits and perhaps an annuity. Jonathan's failed to get disability benefits, but undoubtedly will try again. He's been hurting for money.

They sold the townhouse in Greenside for right around $500000. I believe both condo's were somewhere in the mid $300000 range each. I can't see that Jonathan has any form of income whatsoever, especially now. Mariam might have something from the dead husband, and somewhere there is Mariam's sister who lived with Jonathan and Mariam in Greenside. Where is the sister? Are they using her income? Perhaps Mariam is subsidizing loser boy with a reverse mortgage?

I like to imagine that Miriam has dementia but then there are moments of lucidity, in this case she saw Johnny doing something connected to her name on a computer.

It will only take a couple of seconds before the stress of having birthed such a disappointment causes her to detach from reality again.

Don't worry, Johnny will unlock in it the dead of night to talk about reviewing tampons, but as a mature woman.

Langley IS one of those towns an hour away. He dosen't live in Vancouver itself.

I've found out the sister is living with Miriam as of January at least. I haven't seen her before, or maybe I have but not with Miriam or JY so I don't know what she looks like
