Damn, Martina's husband about to get cucked
TUG starts wailing about how CG abandoned him to get curbstomped by fucking Comic Book Hut instead of rallying to his defense.
Comic Book Hut is just dumping TUG's dox openly for the world to see with all the shit some guy is spoonfeeding him for a laff, but TUG is too cowardly to even acknowledge that the person in the photo is him and just hopes Hut loses interest (bad idea given Hut's autism). Instead he's claiming the picture of Matt Lewis the TN mental clinic worker is actually "the person that made the mask" (actually some Warcampaign member who goes by 'SicSexSix').How is the Hut a threat to anyone with a pulse?
Coronacomics collapse update:
EVS is out settling scores with rando colorists and Rich Johnston. I think, going by the somewhat unfocused and reactionary nature of his streams lately, actually achieving some sort of victory so suddenly has caught Frog a bit flatfooted,. Just like everyone else. If Comicsgate, against all odds and in spite of most of its members, actually succeeds in it's mission - the question must be asked: what happens next?
They won't die but they may stop publishing if the Direct Market completely collapses. So joking about someone's cancer is "fun" i think daddy raped you all if you are this deranged and psychopathicMarvel and DC will never die, Cg will and you go crawling back when the igg pittybucks runs dry.
What transition? Marvel has been primarily a toy company since Ike and Avi bought them back in 1996.I don't think manga will completely dominate the entirety of US comics, but I see it taking an increasingly larger share. I can definitely see the decline of the big two, DC and Marvel, as they transition from comic book companies to corporate IP management firms. I can see the "direct market" dying, with your LGS and small comic book shops diversifying or shutting down. I'm pretty sure the only comic shop we have left in town primarily bills themselves as a "toys and collectibles" store, and the only LGS that's still open was doubling as an internet cafe last time I checked.
While I was writing that, someone made one of my points for me:
Like I said, they're IP management companies, and comic shops are dying.
Read no publisher was interested.Unfortunately publishers who were interested in joining the platform now aren’t and we can 100% understand their decision despite the positive reception by customers and creators," Hendricks concluded. "This might not have been a long-term solution but we didn’t need it to be one. We just needed it to tide us over until the industry returns to normal. Whenever that is but hopefully soon.
I'm sure successful rich people just love to flush money down a toilet.Yeah. the actors should bail out the comic shops because reasons. They don't owe the shops shit, most of the people who saw their movies never touched a comic

wikipedia production issues said:On July 21, 2018, the renewal by Syfy and Space (rebranded as CTV Sci-Fi Channel in 2019) for a fourth season was announced at SDCC.[80][81] The season was scheduled to premiere in 2019 and comprise 12 episodes.[82]
In late February 2019, news broke that the start of production on the fourth season had been delayed due to financial problems at IDW Entertainment.[83][84][85] On July 2, 2019, it was announced that production would begin in late 2019 and filming starting January 2020,[86][87][88][86][89][90] with Cineflix Studios as co-producer, and Canada's Crave network as a new production partner.[88] Emily Andras thanked fans of Wynonna Earp for their loyalty, "This is an enormous testament to our passionate and fierce fans, the Earpers, who remind us every day how to fight like hell for the things you love with wit, ferocity and kindness."[88] Andras and cast were slated to appear at the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con.[86]
Filming for Season 4 began in Calgary on January 15, 2020.[91] New cast joining the series in the fourth season include Martina Ortiz-Luis as Rachel, Andrew Phung, and Ty Olsson.[92] Production was temporarily suspended on March 16 after Alberta issued a provincial order to stop all television and film productions due to concerns over the spread of coronavirus in the region and Canada
Oh right, how I could I forget about IDW? I could definitely see them on the chopping block next with these shows flopping. Their comic division definitely won't save them when anything not TMNT can barely make it to 15k units consistently. A shame that Sonic doesn't sell well. It's one of the good ones that isn't selling politics or identity and is purely about the adventure. I think I'd be legitimately sad if this managed to kill the Sonic comics for goodSaw some people mentioning IDW might be next. We've discussed the millions they've lost chasing netflix bux previously and now two of those shows have been cancelled after one season. They now have two shows; lock and key was renewed for s2, but there's no indication of when it can go into production, and Wynonna Earp which IIRC was on the chopping block after s3. Wynonna Earp has had massive production issues last year and now they can't even film the thing
I can't believe THE Gail Simone, inventor of females in comics, innovator of the DC vs MARVEL idea, and super successful YouTuber couldn't help bring interest to her failure of a company... This is truly, the BIGGEST shock to come out of the industry collapse.Lion forge is dead
Polarity LTD has confirmed to Newsarama that it has closed its animation/comics development subsidiary Lion Forge Labs, with all employees laid off. "Due to rapidly changing economic conditions and the profound impact on marketing and advertising budgets globally, we made the very difficult decision to close Lion Forge Labs, our B2B creative services agency," read a statement from a Polarity representative.
According to Lion Forge Labs' website, the agency employed "over twenty people" - however Polarity didn’t specify the current total size of their now-laid-off staff. The St. Louis-based Lion Forge Labs developed comics, animation, and content for gaming to other companies including Microsoft, the United Way, and the St. Louis Cardinals. It was a sister company to Oni Press, Lion Forge Comics, Lion Forge Animation, and other businesses under the Polarity LTD umbrella.
Back in May 2019, many of the Lion Forge Comics division's staff were laid off as it merged with the newly-acquired Oni Press. Polarity acquired the comic news outlet The Beat in 2017, but the site returned to founder Heidi MacDonald's ownership in January 2020.Newsarama | GamesRadar+

"Why doesn't the actor who played Hitler start a new Youth Group for Neo-Nazi? I mean, they poured their hearts into a fucking ROLE they played" That's not how this shit works you retard. You think Brie Larson knows anything about Captain Marvel? What about Chris Evans. You think Hemsworth grew up fighting crocodiles in Australia to get the newest run on Thor? People who think actors live and breathe the roles they play are incredibly ignorant. It's a very small few, but the majority? It was money.Yeah. the actors should bail out the comic shops because reasons. They don't owe the shops shit, most of the people who saw their movies never touched a comic

IDW, Dark Horse, Boom, Valiant possibly even Dynamite. Theres so many options to choose from.
My money would be on IDW, Valiant or Dark Horse though. IDW is bleeding money year over year, Valiant has gone full woke-shit and their sales are in the toilet and Dark Horse has lost the Star Wars brand which was their only real money maker. Any one of those three would be my guess.
